Stressed check in staff early morning sun bed grabbers, not dealt with as hotel policy noisy builders works with no regard for H&S

Dear guest, We regret to hear that you were unsatisfied with your stay. We appreciate your comments, as they help us to improve our service and will be taken into consideration. Regarding the maintenance work, sometimes unforeseen situations occur where unplanned repairs are required, however we do our utmost to fix them as quickly and as safely as possible. We regret that our guests may be disturbed by the noise, however it would be a H&S violation to leave things unfixed. With regards to sunbed reserving, this requires collaboration with all guests at the hotel. Unfortunately, after having placed numerous notices in the hotel rooms and pool area, if guests do not comply we cannot force them to. Our stay at the hotel

As our daughter was sick we needed to come home early the staff were kind and friendly about this and completely understood, and thanks to a lovely Lady I dealt with from hotels.com for helping me recieve some of my money back for the nights we couldnt stay, staff are very nice to deal with and good english, wasnt to happy with our room location but staff did everything to try offer us different rooms, but I would recommend this hotel to familys with children :)

Nice clean and comfortable property in an excellent location. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is plentiful, but not very tasty, in my opinion and the house wine is shocking

The hotel is in a great location very clean and well kept. The breakfast buffet needs more variation the same offering everyday. The lunch buffet also was the same each time with no variation needs more choices

Great hotel let down slightly by the food

Overall we had a lovely stay - this is the second time we have stayed at Lanzarote Village. Rooms were just as clean as last time, pool area is lovely (although the sunbeds are a bit tired). Bar is really reasonably priced. We stayed half board, but we decided to swap our dinner for lunch every day as the evening buffet wasn't great - Breakfast is mediocre (no fresh fruit salad, and the pieces of fruit available weren't always the freshest), lunch is good (plenty of fresh fish and salad) but dinner was quite poor. Not sure why it varied so much but it worked for us as we preferred to eat at restaurants in the evening. You have to leave a €10 deposit for the safe, another €10 for beach towel, and another €10 for an iron if you need one, so we had €30 locked up in deposits until the end of our holiday which was annoying. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the bars and restaurants. Overall really nice stay and despite the above will still be returning next year.
