"We had everything we needed, but the entrance to the apartment was uninviting. There was a mop and bucket drying at our door. The gardens were unattended and there was bird poos and weathered furniture in the entrance. Something that could easily be fixed."

"Staff were very friendly and not arrogant at all. Very down to earth which we enjoyed and felt very welcome. Room was very big and not felt crowded. Shower was a double in a renovated modern bathroom. There were tables and chairs on the balcony up stairs that we could sit and watch the world go by. Meals were a good size and delicious. Car parking at rear too. Tables and chairs with an umbrella outdoor seating were popular. In the heart of the Daylesford township making it an easy access to all the shops, cafes, restaurants etc. Highly recommend."

Great location, close to lake and Vincent Street.Bed was super comfy and bellypot fire was so cosy warm at night with plenty of wood to keep us going.Kitchen well equipped with coffee machine, chocolates ( sorry we love chocolates and ate most of them) and a bottle of bubbly. We had a fabulous stay and highly recommend"

"The house is very old and consists of a number of separate areas where small groups could meet but with a very large common area near the main kitchen where the full group can be together for important moments such as meals/celebrations etc.The kitchen is very spacious with an excellent arrangement of items to make any meal option very easy as well as an external BBQ.Three bathrooms each with toilet made for a very comfortable stay also.Our visit was near end of winter and the heating option is excellent with the whole house readily heated along with individual control for all bedrooms and common areas.Although they can be noisy there is an abundance of birdlife attracted to the trees/gardens - Cockatoos, Kookaburras, Rosellas (mostly Crimson), Ducks and the occasional Magpie.The Host (Adrian) was excellent with very easy contact possible through web-messages or mobile phone."

The only downfall for us was that we love to be secluded away from traffic and unfortunately was unaware of the hwy across the front of the property. I cannot fault the property or the host, had everything we needed for a 3 day stay. Check in and out was simple. Great location, central to all the popular things to do in Daylesford. Would recommend this to friends and family :)"
