Nice isolated resort with excellent staff

The resort is quite a large area and consists of the old and the new part. We stayed in the new part, which is located in a small artificial island. The room was very clean and housekeeping was first class and friendly.
In Poovar there is "nothing," and one should really consider to select all meals and pay for them in advance. It is much more economical and practical. The food was first class and certainly clean. If you do not like Indian food, so should not go India. Around half of the clients were Indians. The service was friendly and personal.
The pool area has already seen its best days, but it is very large. Everything is taken care of very well, but a very Indian way. One should not look behind the corner.
One more time. The staff was very friendly and I have difficulties to understand some reviews. Why people write such rubbish and in so rude way. That seem to be Indian way to say something. Better not to read those reviws.
The closest town worth visiting is Kovalam and it takes almost an hour. Paying is always a terrific show. If you want do some shopping and leave the resort, then you need to go to Kovalam.
Some people have the habit of always find something negative to say. Well, at least I do not. It is good to know, however, that the heritage room may be a better option than a suite. Large Indian families occupy them.
