Only stayed over for the night but was a lovley room. Very clean and very comfortable and the pub was great. Will be staying again next time im up that way

Room was very clean and very well equipped together with a extremely comfortable bed. Food in the pub was exceptional in terms of quality and portion sizes!! Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Only minor negative observations are that the annex accommodation is a little tired from the outside and beware the footway leading to rooms as there lurks an unmarked trip hazard across the pathway - be careful !! However, overall, a very good place to stay and we would recommend.

Around the property there is renovation going on but it did not detract from our stay. The staff were very polite and friendly. Would definitely ho backs again.

Warm and inviting with a charming bar
Room was clean, warm and well equipped. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Carpark is large and easy find. Bar is wonderful, would stay again.

Spacious well equipped rooms with great restaurant
I stay at the Willow House a couple of time a year with work and have always found the accommodation to be excellent. Spacious rooms with plenty of power points, fridge, toaster, microwave and some breakfast supplies in your room. The bed is comfortable and although the ensuite is compact, it has everything you need. The restaurant serves great food too.

Needs a refresh, could be lovely.
Watton is a nice little town with very little visitor accommodation, so Willow House was full. The pub and restaurant is popular with nice friendly staff. However, the rooms are shabby, randomly and cheaply decorated and in the case of my room, damp. Brownie points for the solar panels but no option to separate waste for recycling.

So easy to book in and stay
My daughter and I had a lovely couple of days staying with you. The ease of booking in contactless was fantastic. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus. My daughter was thrilled when we returned after a day out to find her teddies had been tucked into bed ready for her.

I stayed at the willow House for 4 days and 3 nights, visiting family who live nearby, exceptional service, with room being cleaned daily, a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle in the room’s ,eating and drinking in the hotel pub as well, all food is homemade, portion size’s great even from a sandwich to jacket potato, to a main meal, sides and dessert’s offered as well, I managed a cherry and apple crumble after a prawn jacket, oh my if you like coleslaw, this homemade coleslaw I feel must be the best I have ever tasted, will definitely recommend and stay here again Christine

Specious bedroom excellent food
Spacious bedroom with DIY breakfast, incl. toaster, fridge with milk, yoghurts, bread, butter cereals etc which was great with making an early start each day. Also the usual kettle with tea coffee and biscuits etc. These were all replenished daily as were toiletries etc so great service on this front. Most accommodating in the restaurant in reserving a table for later arrivals back from work, The food was excellent with a good choice and the portions were generous. Staff were friendly and welcoming, so all round an excellent hotel

The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained but was disappointed that no mention was made when booked that the pub/restaurant wasn't open. Booking was non-cancellable so couldn't change my mind when i got the text message from the Willow House informing me of this. Room had a microwave, toaster and very noisy fridge so had to go to the local Tesco for my food as no restaurants nearby, and breakfast was provided in a bag or in the noisy fridge. Wasn't told of this before i booked either. Didn't help that the bottle of milk provided was out of date! I travel a lot and always support local business rather than chain hotels and this could've been so good but was let down by poor communication.

The room was big, airy and comfortable, the towels are tiny and for some reason the radiator had been turned off, i arrived late so assumed the timer had gone off for the day but was very cold all night and when the heating didnt come on in the morning, it was pretty unpleasent trying to get ready. My biggest issue was the fact that i saw nobody for the entireity of my stay, if i wanted a souless room only experience there are plenty of chain hotels available. When you book a pub with rooms I think it's only fair to expect a much higher level of good old fashioned English hospitality, the checki n was via a text message explaining how to access my room and the break in your room concept is horrible. there are no personal touches operating in this manner and as a diabetic there was no access to sweetners or green tea, the kind of things you could request in a restuarant environment. Covid restrictions have now been lifted so there is no logistical reason to operate in this way. please go back to proper breakfast arrangments ans a proper breakfast offered as standard.

Nice place
Great place. Nice little self contained apartment (not part of the main building). Car parking busy, but there is free parking nearby as well. Giving middle marks for eco friendliness as we couldn't find a way to turn the heating down and had to open windows as it was a bit warm for our tastes. Nice place and very good for the high street

Beautiful place amazing staff
From start to finish this was a wonderful experience. Cannot recommend this beautiful gem of a hotel enough . The staff go above and beyond nothing is too much trouble.

My partner and myself stayed just one night as part of a round trip. The welcome was great and the owner and staff were extremely helpful. They have a good COVID procedure which is adhered to in these pandemic times. The room itself was clean and tidy with a comfy bed. There was a low level noise from the bar/restaurant that travelled but not enough to allow us to get off to sleep. The restaurant sold good bar food and had a decent range of alcoholic beverages. During the meal we were very well looked after by the staff and owner. There was a complimentary breakfast in the room which was a good selection of cereal, toast (plus jams etc), yogurts and milk plus tea/coffee etc. Both my partner and myself would stay again when exploring the area around here.
