Located in the heart of Thessaloniki, our 120m2 apartment offers mesmerizing sea views and has three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It provides an ideal accommodation for big families, groups of friends or three adults each wanting a separate room. It has been fully renovated in 2017 and is furnished with modern amenities and eclectic, original furniture. THE APARTMENT

The apartment is located in an Art Deco 1937 listed building. It has been fully renovated in 2017 and it has been furnished with modern design classics (Arper, Foscarini, Hay etc.) as well as vintage and unique findings from our trips around the globe. It is located on the first floor and it is accessible via elevator. It is large and airy and has plenty of separate spaces filled with natural light. There is central heating with radiators in all rooms and additional air-conditioning or ceiling fans for cooling in certain rooms.

The apartment is located in one of the busiest streets of Thessaloniki, the old waterfront which has a very vibrant day and night scene with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. During weekdays, the apartment is calmer. During weekends, the buzz from the street reaching Flamingo Pink Bedroom and the Living Room, might be unpleasant for those seeking peace and quietness.

Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Smoking is allowed on the south balcony overlooking the waterfront as well as on the north balcony overlooking the neighborhood. Ashtrays are provided accordingly.

Infants and children account as adults in charging for the apartment. We can provide a baby cot for you. Please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Parking

The apartment is located in one of the busiest parts of the city. Street parking is not allowed during business hours. You can park a car on the street during the evening and it is for free. There are parking facilities near the apartment and are all quite expensive. The cheapest parking facility in downtown Thessaloniki is located at the port and it is some 800m away.

We have managed to secure a special offer for our guests at a 24 hour access parking facility located 50m from the apartment. Price per parking spot is: 1 day x 20€=20€, 2 days x 17.5€ = 35€, 3 days x 15€ = 45€.

Getting to/from the airport

Bus

There is a bus line that goes to/comes from the airport, bus line No78. The ticket costs 2€ and it takes about an hour. Get off at YMCA bus stop (1km from the apartment) or Aristotle Square bus stop (650m from the apartment) and walk from there.

Taxi

A taxi ride to the airport is about 30'-35' during peak hours, about 25'-30' off peak hours and costs a flat rate of 20€ to take you to the city center.

Stay at AiR Waterfront Nikis Apartment
Myself and some colleagues stayed at this apartment while in Thessaloniki for a work conference. The apartment was better than described and more spacious that we expected. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the balcony that looked directly over the bay. The location is great and near many good restaurants. The apartment is on a relatively busy road so there is some road noise in the bedroom that is closest to the front of the apartment but cannot be heard at all in the 2 bedrooms further back. We were overall very happy with our stay at this location and the host was extremely pleasant and helpful with many reccomendations of things to do while in the city.

Exceptionally cool place in a fantastic location.
This apartment is beautifully presented and looks out over the sea, situated above bustling cafes and bars. We absolutely loved it. Stamatios was so lovely and incredibly generous with his time, settling us in and telling us all about the best local eateries that would fulfil our culinary desires. He was right on every count, too. Thessaloniki is a hidden gem, it seems. We loved the whole experience.

good location, very busy street
The communication with the property owner was great. He was very responsive in answering all of our questions. He met us at the apartment, checked us in, and went over several great options for places to eat, things to do, etc. The location of the apartment is good - very easy to walk to all kinds of restaurants, bars, museums, etc. However, it is on a VERY busy street. At night, there is constant noise coming from people walking by, vehicle traffic, etc. The owner even provides ear plugs (which is nice, but didn't really help). The two smaller bedrooms are set further back from the street, so the noise is not bad. But for the master bedroom, the noise was really bad. The apartment was clean and pretty spacious, but could use a little in the way of "upkeep" and "upgrades". There is no TV in the main living room - small TV's are in the master bedroom, and one other bedroom. The middle bedroom has a loft bed, accessible by an aluminum extension ladder. Not easy to climb up and down. The bathroom arrangement is a little misleading from the listing - the bathrooms consists of 1 room with a toilet and small sink, and a 2nd room with a larger sink and the shower. Nice having those two as separate rooms, but not so nice having only 1 toilet. Overall, it worked just fine for us for our stay - great location to get to everywhere we wanted to go.
