As a solo traveller I really enjoyed the feeling this hotel gives you. It is in a great location, quiet to sleep, lovely pool, good breakfast, clean room and very friendly staff. Just up the road is a grocery store and other restaurants are close by. I am English so I found all the French signs rather confusing. I didn’t understand the menu but that is maybe more my fault as this is in a French country. Only one English Channel on the TV. The room was on the small side but I wasn’t in it much and you want to sit in the common areas as they are so inviting. I couldn’t open my large suitcase on the floor but as I was on my own I made it work. I was able to borrow a kettle as the room didn’t have one. No fridge in the room. Bed was very comfortable. I would certainly stay here again and I really loved my entire experience of this hotel." Thank you To list: 1) the fridge is broken 2) the WiFi does not work in the room, 3) the shower soap is empty on our 1st use in the shower 4) the menu on the web site in English offers a happy hour - there is no happy hour 5) the floor in the room is sticky and maybe not that clean 6) Our fondue dinner was not served with potatoes or salad but as we had no menu we did not realise until after our dinner. You did compensate by removing cost of 1 glass of wine. Thank you. Overall very disappointing. The hotel is not a spa and needs some more care and attention to bring it back to a \*\*\*\* Level.
