The only downside is it’s about a 20 minute walk back out to the main road where there are other shopping and restaurant choices. Not a deal breaker though, as Grab will come directly to the resort and take you wherever you need to go."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Mercure Mactan Cebu. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The view from the hotel was also beautiful! The only thing I would mention is that I booked the hotel thinking it was directly near the beach based on the photos and description. It is not actually beachfront, and you either need to take the hotel shuttle or walk about 10 minutes to reach the beach. I personally didn’t mind the walk, but I did find the description a little misleading. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and really appreciated the wonderful staff, beautiful views, and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely consider staying here again. ❤️"

"There's many good things about this place , But the first one that comes to my mind is comfort , for the most part there is everything you need there and it has a nice view . I had a problem at first and it got handled . And for staying 3 weeks I really had an enjoyable stay. And found the convenience of local shopping , coffee, and beach was all within walking distance of less than 10 minutes. I'd stay again !"

Everyone had room to relax, and the property made our vacation feel effortless. We especially appreciated how accessible and convenient everything was for our wheelchair-using family member.The facilities were excellent, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Our youngest guests were just as delighted as the adults, making this a memorable trip for the entire family.We would absolutely return without hesitation. 10/10—we highly recommend La Mirada to families, especially larger groups looking for comfort, convenience, and a fantastic home base while exploring Cebu and Mactan."
