"On arrival the room was clean and comfortable and seemed excellent value for money but the pub food was dreadful value for money - small portions - tasted good but not good value. And then the noise from outside pub revellers went on until 1.40am right outside the window - which even closed - was not good. Don’t book room 3 if you want a good nights sleep! I guess you get what you pay for!!!!"

"Wonderful place to stay in Penzance. Charming older hotel with exceptional staff. Greetings from reception, attentive & pleasant dining room personnel, Lovely gathering place for ladies, artisans, locals & visitors. Superb location by promenade, gardens, galleries, bike path & town proper. I’ll always return there, the Queen’s Hotel has my name on it:)"

"I've given this a five star review because although the rooms are fairly basic, the staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good, and the location is brilliant. You're a 5 minute walk from the beach and there's a bus route right outside the hotel that can take you direct to Penzance, Marazion and St Ives (and I'm sure elsewhere, but that's all we managed). It's also incredibly good value for money. So don't expect the Ritz but for what you pay this is a really great place to stay."

"We had a beach view room and it was amazing to look at the sea from the second floor. Breakfast was included within the superior room at a premium rate, but it was worth to pay more for the view. There was always water and ice tea at the counter and coffee machine available to get hot drinks at any time, which was great. Overall it was a great stay."

"Staff were lovely, and the property is situated beautifully. However, the property itself needs extensive renovation. The rooms as very dated. The worst part though was how dirty the rooms were, and I mean filthy. All crumbs and think dust on outter edges of carpets. The soap dish in shower was think with black mould and old soap. There is also no aircon (you do get a fan) but the window barely opens and it is like a furnace at night, makes it extremely unpleasant. Only stayed there due to a wedding but would not stay again."
