Grand Isle was beautiful resort. The property was well maintained and the room was clean. But We were not happy. First ,we booked one bed room ocean view villa. It was ocean view but back side of the ocean view with the marina. I was assuming the front side of Emerald bay view for one bed room ocean view room. Very misleading. Second, the king bed was old and very uncomfortable to sleep. Hampton inns have better beds. Third, the shower pressure was so week. For over $1,000 a night, it’s not worth to stay.

WOW! What an amazing vacation experience that well exceeded our expectations! The trip started out wonderful as we were upgraded to a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 floor suite with a water view. Everyone at the resort was so nice and friendly. The food was also really good! Breakfast and lunch at Palapa was great. Dinner at 23 North was so good we ended up eating there for 3 nights! The beach was really lovely and the water was so serene. I have to say that this was a truly unforgettable vacation. We loved the property and the grounds were beautiful. The golf course was also really beautiful. Thank you for such a welcoming stay. We really enjoyed our time in Exuma. We are so grateful and blessed! We will be back! xoxo :-)

We liked the spacious beach and the "Adults only" pool. Too bad the peace was a bit disturbed by noisy Bachelorettes and Girls' Trip groups. The one-bedroom villa accommodation was certainly large enough for two people. Maybe 2 small bottles of water in the room fridge,for one week, is a bit stingy...

The Grande Isle resort was so relaxing. Both our accommodations and the resort itself were well appointed. The beach is large and the chairs / towels / staff are great. Two pools to enjoy along with easy dining and bars made our days fun and relaxing. Highly recommend the spa (ask for Shelly!), golf, and going off resort to enjoy all that Exuma has to offer. I’d also suggest renting a car for ease.

The airconditioner in the penthouse was not cooling enough. Had to call twice to have fixed. They came later and try to fix the problem.

The property was beautiful. Very well manicured and lush. The villa (5103) was spacious, clean and pretty. You can see the ocean, but there are obstructions from other villas. Bedrooms are comfortable. Beach and pools are fantastic! Palapa is a good restaurant. Every staff member we encountered was kind and professional. We absolutely enjoyed our time at Grand Isle!

We had a wonderful time. The resort is very nice - a few little issues with service, but have to say the staff was so nice - it really was OK. The mid-price restaurant could use a few more choices - especially for dinner - but overall very good. Would certainly go back again!

The property was beautiful and the staff were both friendly and helpful. We ended up getting upgraded to a three bedroom villa - a little overkill for just the two of us, but was amazing nonetheless! We highly recommend dinner at 23° North - it was the best food we ate over the course of the entire vacation! Sherry, the concierge, helped to set up a tour with Exuma Water Sports, which I also highly recommend.

FIRST TIME HERE. THIS IS A WONDERFUL RESORT. GROUNDS ARE IMMACULATE. THE BEACH IS AS GREAT AS ALL THE OTHERS ON THE ISLAND. THE VILLA WE STAYED IN WAS SPACIOUS WITH ALL FIRST CLASS AMENITIES AND SPOTLESS. BEST OF ALL WERE THE MANY STAFF PERSONNEL ALWAYS THERE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEED. This place is really good and I would like to return, for sure. I would just suggest that they change their gas golf carts for electric golf carts, not only because of the environment, but specially for reducing the noise inside the property. Also, they didn't have expresso, capuccino, latte, neither of these, because one day the coffee machine was broken and the other they run out of pods. And mainly, I would suggest that they do not use the lawn mowers so early in the morning, because their noise woke me up every day! But overall, it is a great place and just need some adjustments.

After coming to this property, I plan to come at least once a year an i truly feel that a stay anywhere else would sway how i felt about the island. When I say the staff was friendly, I mean it ! Mccalum, and Melizza were absolute stars. The beach was beautiful. It’s about 25 minutes from George Town so if you don’t want to deal with city life and the aggressive city folk selling things it’s a perfect location.

Aged hotel. Only two restaurants for all 3 meals with a very menu. Long wait time for drink and food service. During room cleaning they removed all the bath towels and didn’t refill. Beware of no-see-um at night. Walked away with a ton of bites.

Exuma is Heaven on Earth and the Grand Isle Resort was a slice of paradise. The property is beautiful & very well kept. The staff was amazing and so helpful anytime we had questions. Traveling to the Bahamas is expensive, so be prepared to spend AT LEAST $150 for a meal for 2-4, if you drink alcohol. It’s a slow laid back pace there and perfect for relaxing. We will absolutely go back!!!!!

Beautiful beach access and pools, very family friendly staff and felt very welcomed and safe. Never felt crowded. On-site restaurants needed more local seafood options is only critique.

Beach has lots of micro plastic litter. They comb the beach for large trash, so it’s not dirty or neglected. Very friendly people at reception. Units are not standard. Decor and amenities differed between our two rooms.

This is a beautiful property with spectacular ocean views. the food at the restaurant is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. They don't have an ATM on the premise (there is one walking distance at the marina - however that one was out of service during our stay). The rooms are huge with an upstairs and a downstairs. It's very peaceful.

The property is ideal for an escape from the busyness of professional life. The seaview from the villa we stayed in was PERFECT! The ambience of the property as a whole was great! We would definitely do a repeat visit.

The property is beautiful overall but needs to improve the restaurant facilities. Overall, we feel limits on options for dinner. We book a 2-2 room, and the resort gave us a 3-3 because they did not have 2-2, then make us move in the middle of the trip, which was very Inconvinious. The Customer services representative keep us for the first three days, promising a solution which never happens. We ended losing time and not being able to do executions because of the situation. Overall a lovely property, which needs better restaurants and customer services. As an Expedia Gold member, we were expecting better.
