Hôtel très sympa

Pros: La décoration, le personnel et le restaurant.
Cons: Bruit de la route.
Location: A côté du golf pour les intéressés sinon très bon restaurant sur la côte a 20 min a pied.
Hôtel super avec très joli cadre ( vue sur montagne ). Service impeccable et personnel toujours souriant. Equipements complets: Spa, salle de sport, salle de squash, piscine exterieur. Seul bémol la situation de l'hôtel assez éloigné de la plage sinon a 15 min a pied des premiers hypermarchés, et point noir chambre duchess au bord de la route très fréquenté donc très bruyant. Chambre très propre et tout équipé ( clim, tv écran plat, cuisine avec tout les accessoires....).

My wife and I stayed at the Royal Villas &Spa for 5 nights last week, I would thoroughly recommend you stay here should you visit Adeje. Superb facility, immaculate suites individually named with their own pools, the staff were very attentive and freindly and nothing was too much trouble. We would definately return.

Das Hotel war sehr gepflegt. Wir hatten eine eigene Wohnung mit einem kleinen Pool gemietet. Das Morgenbuffet war reichhaltige und schön präsentiert. Die Bedienung stets freundlich.

My mum and I stayed here for a week and we have no complaints. The hotel was clean, cosy and welcoming. The staff at the hotel bend over backwards to make sure everything is just right. I am going back in April!

Oasis of calm with 5 star facilities

Pros: Quality of accommodation, calm ambience, location, excellent staff, nothing too much trouble.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Location: La Caleta is a small town with a couple of restaurants, cafes etc on the sea. Rosso sul Mare was a good restaurant and we ate here several times.
My husband and I had booked a Duchess Villa , which is a one bedded private villa with its on small pool. This was an important break for me as I was frazzled and needed a real rest. At check in , we were advised that as an Elite Expedia customer, we had been upgraded to a Majestic Villa. I was very impressed. The Villa was breaktaking. Two bedrooms,huge terrace, lovely pool. Very secluded and although there is some traffic noise, it was not in the least intrusive. The sea and mountain views are lovely and the whole hotel is imbued with a feeling of calm serenity. The hotel restaurant was lovely and the food good. The hotel is located around a 30 minute walk from La Caleta and its uphill all the way back but taxis are plentiful and cheap, so it's not an issue. As a seasoned traveller, I can honestly say that this was a perfect holiday for me and we will return.

Völlig inakzeptabel, Vorsicht bei der Buchung

O.a. Angaben beruhen ausschließlich auf der Tatsache, dass es sich hier um ein nobles 5-Sterne-Hotel handelt (Preis pro Nacht 750EUR), an welches natürlich gewisse Erwartungen gestellt werden. Diese wurden eindeutig nicht erfüllt. Ob hierzu Hotels.com oder das Hotel selbst falsche Angaben geliefert hat wird noch geklärt. Jedenfalls buchte ich eine Villa mit 140m2 mit zwei Betten und Massage im Zimmer. Die Bilder und Angaben auf Hotel.com sind realitätsfern (auch wenn es sich um Beispiele handelt). Das Zimmer hatte vielleicht die Hälfte der angegebenen Größe, es befand sich nur ein Doppelbett darin, die Massage (obwohl bei der Buchung extra bestellt und vom Veranstalter als inkludierter Preis ausgewiesen) wurde verweigert, bzw. es wurde ein signifikanter Aufpreis verlangt. Darüber hinaus war das Hotelpersonal in keiner Weise zuvorkommend und bei der Reklamation sogar unverschämt. Das war insgesamt ein völlig inakzeptabler Aufenthalt, der seine Konsequenzen haben wird.
