Me, my wife & our 8 month old baby spent a week at this hotel. The hotel looks lovely and grand, the reception area is vast and clean and the pools are grand and clean.
The rooms however are not quite a luxury. The rooms are fine, but they are in a real need of a makeover and there are small annoyances, for example the water flow from the bathroom taps was really slow and the temperatures were a bit all over the place. Other small things like the coffee & milk not being filled up unless requested was a frustration.
Breakfast was nice with all foods kept full up.
One major disappointment we had was that when we were checking out at about 11am, the lifts were out of service as the windows were being cleaned and there was no help for us getting our baby, luggage and pram down the stairs. The staff on reception didn't seem to care about this. There are 2 sets of lifts, one from level zero to level 5, these were working, but the lifts from 0 to -2, where reception is, were out of service. There was no advance warning about this and the lack of care as we struggled to get down the stairs was annoying.
Overall we did have a nice stay. This is a very big and busy hotel and if you want to do all inclusive this is probably perfect for you, but if you prefer something a bit quieter and more relaxed and prefer to get out and about it would probably be better to look elsewhere.
