Grest Hotel

Posted 14-Jul-2016
Cons: No information was provided at check-in so it took the best part of a week to find rules regarding towels, sun-beds and late-opening bars.
We spent a quiet, relaxed week at Bahia Principe..............................................................................................................................................................

Nice hotel, very friendly staff

Lovely hotel, not within walking distance to a real beach. You will need to drive or bus/taxi there. You have facilities at 2 hotels to use. We loved it!

Todo estupendo. Hemos estado muy cómodos.

Posted 27-Jun-2016

A fabulous all-inclusive stay

Posted 21-Jun-2016
Pros: The rooms were spacious and clean, the facilities were brilliant and I can't speak highly enough of the all inclusive package.
We absolutely loved this hotel, we'll definitely be back again! Having never been all inclusive before we weren't sure what to expect but the food and drinks were all fantastic. So many options to choose from, and the different restaurants made it feel like you were trying new places each night. We didn't leave the resort as we had everything we needed right there, so it's perfect for a relaxing, sun-bathing holiday. We could have easily turned up with no spending money. There isn't much nearby so if you're keen to explore then this location probably isn't for you.

Good all-inclusive, done to formula

Posted 05-Jun-2016
Pros: We'll run, friendly staff, heated pool, safe and clean
Cons: Try and make the resaurants feel special. More sun beds.
Location: By the sea but no usable beach. Walk to waters edge at low tide, rock pools are interesting. Nearby we did Jungle Park and Aqualand (both good)
We spent a week at the hotel with the 2 kids (6,7). Hotel is clean, nicely decorated and well run. It's got nice big pools and too few sun beds (why is that?) but we did always get 2 in the end. Food was good but not inspiring, they cater to quantity somewhat over quality but it was varied slightly each day (except breakfast) so they do try. It's a bit out of they way but free shuttle to Playa de las Americas and a taxi is just €15. Kids had fun, many families there so good atmosphere for them. Kids disco each night plus evening show so plenty to do. We did three day trips, Aqualand (good and not too busy), Jungle Park (also good and not too busy) and just a walk around Playa de las Americas (cheap sunglasses anyone?) All inclusive drink was one choice of beer (lager), wine on tap, local spirits and coke etc plus slushies for the kids (or add vodka..) This is our second all-inclusive, the other being Iberostar in DOminican Republic and they were almost identical. Price, food std and variety. Guess you find a formula and it just works.

Tranquillo e completo

Posted 16-May-2016
