The only drawback is that the road is incredibly close to the house and the traffic noise is impossible to drown out, especially when trying to sleep in the second bedroom. It certainly would easily accommodate a family, but it is really hard to find a nice house on the water for just a couple at a reasonable price. Everything was very clean, worked, and had all that you would need for a comfortable stay. The view is amazing. The Happy Clam restaurant down the road was the best place we ate the entire trip, both in quality and price. If we come back, it would be where we would eat every night. The general store is also great for just about anything you need and Walmart is close and just off the road in and out for anything else you might need. The house was clean, bright and roomy enough for two couples. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved hanging out in the living room as we watched boats going across the bay and the sunrises were gorgeous. We explored the general store, which had everything you might need, and friendly cashiers. We ate delicious meals at the Eastwind Inn, and explored Camden and Rockland from the cottage. Whether you're looking to relax and enjoy some quiet time or use as a home base while exploring the area, it's a must stay. The pictures on the site are beautiful, but it is even better in person. This rental exceeded my expectations and i will book again next year. We saw seals and other wild life. The sunrise is beautiful here.
