"We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately. "Incredible location in the mountains. Breakfast of bread, cheese, meat, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and other simple items included every morning. The property is a cat sanctuary as well, though they all remain outside and are extremely friendly! We woke up to the sounds of bells on goats/cows every morning roaming in the mountains. "This hotel was a lovely surprise. You turn off a busy road and find this gem. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful member of staff. She explained about the facilities and how we could use them. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the indoor pool with its sauna and Turkish steam room. It was pleasant sitting outside with a drink too. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast was good too. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to friends."

"We had a comfortable room with a patio overlooking the Douro River. Staff very friendly. The only negative from our point of view was the window from the shower into the room. The botton 2/3 rds are translucent and upper 1/3 clear. If a light is turned on in bathroom bedroom is lit up as well . Also the obvious privacy issues. Other than the the room , hotel , staff, bar and restaurant are great."
