"Overall good but breakfast was not great and the rooms were a bit smaller than I thought"

"The hotel was what I expected for the price. No disappointments there. The bar, on the other hand was a totally different story. I was there with three other couples for a medical school graduation for two of our children. My wife’s ex-husband and wife made it to the bar and so did the brides family. The bartender would not let me open a tab for me and my wife and said they could only accommodate two tabs per table. I wasn’t even sitting at an adjacent table. I went to the bar and she acted like it would be a problem for me to pay cash there. She asked if I wanted a glass or the bottle for the beer and I said a glass so she handed me the bottle of beer and the glass. I took my wife drink and my glass and beer to the table when I poured the beer in my glass she came by about three minutes later gave me a mean look and just took the empty bottle. Complain to the manager on duty and she never really even apologized. I know this could sound like sour grapes, but it’s not. It was already an awkward situation for me and there was no way I was going to ask my wife’s ex-husband or the parents of the bride to pay for my drinks. The manager told me I should’ve done that and then just Venmo them the money. I work in customer service and this is so extremelyUnacceptable."

"The property is in a great location just across the street from Auburn University and next to great shops and restaurants. It’s very walkable to most anything you want to do there. The unit was modern and recently updated with nice furnishings. Everything was clean and well kept. It’s also very spacious with enough room to spread out for a family of four. There is a full kitchen and the basic supplies for cooking. My only concern was with the noise level from the neighboring bars. We stayed there on a Thursday and a Friday night and the bass reverberated through the entire place until 2:00am, from the house music being played. I feel like the listing description doesn’t fully relay the impact of this. Yes there are provided sound machines to help dampen the noise but it doesn’t fully mask it. So if you’re staying here for a game or night out and will be up late this is perfect place for you. If you’re sensitive to noise and go to bed early maybe not. "

"This is such a great spot in Auburn! It is beautiful, spacious, and in such a great location. The host was very easy to work with. It really felt like a treat, and I hope to book again on our next trip into town. War Eagle!"

"The property was well cared for and did not disappoint. Parking is reserved and downtown dining is easily walkable. Management was responsive to my messages. The difficulty is that it is across an alley from a very popular and very loud club which operated with its doors open until late at night. The music and crowd noise was so loud it made it very difficult to sleep. "
