Everything was perfect. The complimentary dinner provided was really good. It was a 2 course dinner. They even provided a packed breakfast as we were leaving early. Room was super comfortable too. Would definitely visit if we are in the area.

Fantastic Hotel
Fabulous hotel with excellent staff who were nothing but polite and efficient from check-in to check-out. Unbelievable hospitality, 24 hour free tea & coffee in lounge area , free cakes/cookies in the afternoon and fabulous complimentary buffet breakfasts and evening meals . Our room was spacious and clean with excellent WiFi connection. Good location, 5 minute walk from the train station. Sandefjord is a pretty harbour town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Can highly recommend this hotel .

There was two lamps that did not work in my room and the floor was poorly cleaned. There was dirt on the floor and the bathroom floor was sticky. The room was otherwise nice and spacious. The staff was friendly and the evening meal was taco since it was Friday. Friday equals taco night in Norway :-D

Few surprises on arrival (like no cleaning)
I got surprised after arrival that rooms are not cleaned / attended unless you specifically requested by certain time the next day. When I asked for new towels at least - I had to pick them up from reception the following evening anyhow. My shampoo and conditioneir in shower not replaced even asked for (they were on list - as they told me - they just never got to it). And when you add this little things together - even spacious rooms etc. - I would think twice to return here to be honest.

Good hotel. Close to the station, clean and tidy. Bar service was a little slow- but otherwise all fine.

Took about 10 minutes for a person to come out. Had to pay for the additional person. Because I accidentally clicked 1 person. Only 1 pillow in the bed which was strange.

Really great hotel
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was nice and spacious, the bed was comfy, and the shower was great. The location was great too, being only a few minutes walk from the train station with excellent links to the airport. I didn’t really like the fish curry buffet - but I considered it a bonus that the hotel provided an evening meal (and I had pizza in the town anyway, so I wasn’t disappointed). The hotel also provided complimentary tea and coffee in the bar/lounge area. I really felt welcomed here, and at home talking to the girl from the reception desk about Vikings and Norwegian life in the evening - this made my stay extra ‘hyggly’ :) It’s a shame I only spent one night here because I found Sandefjord to be a calm and relaxing town, and nice to wander around even if there wasn’t much going on.

Pleasant stay.
Helpfull and friendly staff. I only found out the complimentary light meal otion after making actual reservation and lady @ check in rminded us. Was nice and tasty !

I liked the close location to the train station, and the hotel itself was cool, part whaling/Sandefjord museum, it was very interesting to look around. Also, the breakfast and evening meal were very good and provided quite a variety to choose from.

Definitely worth staying here
This was our second visit to the Hotel Atlantic, the first being a business trip, and this visit as part of our Norwegian road trip. Excellent hotel in every sense, comfort, rooms, service, but what really makes the difference with this hotel is the food. Most Norwegian hotels serve an excellent breakfast, but with Clarion group an evening buffet is also included in the room rate. At the Hotel Atlantic it is served in small rooms which have been fitted out to look like the interior of fishing boats to show Sandefjord's fishing history. Strange but very interesting, and the food is excellent both in terms of choice and quality. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good stay in the Down town!
Thanks a lot, perfect stay, friendly staff. We had a good stay in Sandefjord. Our departure was very early in the morning and the staff made for us sandwiches to take away the breakfast, amazing... We will comeback of course!

Unfortunately we were not able to spend enough time in Sandefjord to really do any exploring. We had to get to the airport very early, so missed breakfast, but the staff made us a breakfast bag to go. The hotel is a great old classic in design. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast is ok. Food not eat there inn an evening add there are plenty of restaurants around the area. I would stay again. Internet is excellent. 150mbs.
