"Great stay! Everything was great except the pull out sleeper sofa in the suites. Staff nicely made it up for our arrival, but the mattress was terrible. Fortunately, it was just two nights and we were tired."

"The property was exactly as depicted in the photos and other reviews. It is a great, basic and budget-friendly option in Valdez. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There were both hot and cold options both mornings that we were there for breakfast. The tub was a bit slow draining when we showered, but there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There was a great local restaurant right next door. Everything in town was easily accessible from this hotel. There are several other fun things to do that are just a short drive away (Glacier View Park, Solomon Gulch Fish Hatchery, hiking the Goat Trail near Bridal Veil Falls, etc.). Our beds were comfortable. We were able to request more towels at the front desk when we needed them. You could hear some hallway noise in the rooms, but everyone was very respectful during quiet/overnight hours so it was not an issue. The rooms did not have coffee makers or tables in them, but there was always coffee available in the breakfast area. Guests were more than welcome to gather in the breakfast area or to use the microwaves that were in the breakfast area during their stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future."

"It is a really beautiful house with a lot of extra rooms and everything you can think of. The host is very responsive and kind. We feel like a home. The house is super clean and near a lot of hiking trails. We had a great time! Thank you renting this beautiful house to us!"

"Great hospitality, beautiful space with lots of room. Bed was comfortable. No blackout curtains though so bring eye mask! Quick drive to town. Absolutely beautiful view from the windows and deck!"
