A wonderful stay. We had a 2 bed apartment, with views along the drive to the bay. Everything was extremely clean, a well equipped kitchen, and very good aircon in the lounge. We also had a garage allocated. Location is excellent, with the bay across the road from the hotel, a two minute stroll to the Pacific, and several cafes just around the corner. About 10 minutes walk to the main shopping/dining area with plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. The only minor disappointment was the pool, which is a lot smaller than the photo suggests, and is shared with the apartments behind. That said, we would have no hesitation in stopping here again, or recommending to amyone else.

The location was brilliant. The apartment is a little run down. Duck tape fix on black vinyl dining chairs, drier door broken, basin grimy and we ran out of hot water when I washed my hair, hubby had a cold shower! Stayed there before but in an apartment I think privately owned and rented which was much nicer.

No internet in the room - despite making reception aware of the issue nothing was fixed. I missed a very important international zoom meeting because of no internet. I also asked for a spare set of sheets so I could change the bed when my son slightly wet the sheets. Reception said that they were not a service station and I would be charged for these sheets. Floor downstairs was concrete and very cold - even in autumn. We were not aware of heaters available in the room, but when found both heathers were broken. A great locations but reception and internet was deplorable.

Enjoyed the beautiful pool and gym area. No cleaning products or cloths for any spills. Dust under the beds and skirting boards. Bathroom shower drain very dirty and blocked. Staff were lovely

What a fabulous weekend!!! Surrounding properties were quite noisy at times, and could be heard clearly from the main bedroom Excellent communication from the property managers and a pleasant farewell Would definitely recommend 😊

Best value in Mount Maunganui. Apartments are very clean and spacious. Close to the Mauao and all the shops and cafes. 2nd time at Capri, and will return again.

Great location and close to beaches and the Mount. The lack of a view was an issue for me. Great for walking, surfing and swimming. The pool is closed during most of the year. Mattress in my unit was very uncomfortable. Unit is clean and adequately equipped. Lift is definitely an asset for upper levels.

The apartment was really old and run down. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and the couch was a collapsing sleeper couch so horrible to sit on. The manager of the apartment was fantastic we have dealt with him before and he was great. We have stayed at the Capri many times over the last 20 years but never in that apartment and not again unless it’s upgraded.

Fabulous apartments right next to the amount...
Loved staying at Capri on Pilot Bay. Fantastic location, very comfortable apartments and Andrew, our host was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. We would love to return, thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
