We did quite like this place but it was very expensive- for the same price in Tasmania we stayed in much better digs, even at places like Cradle Mountain, and it seems more expensive than comparators in its location.
The location of the B&B is lovely, as other reviewers say (and the owners are certainly lucky to live there), but then, we found lots of accommodation in Tasmania is similarly spectacular given good weather. Think we were in the Ocean View room- one with boats on the duvet in pictures- I suspect people in the downstairs room(s) might miss the views.
There is no restaurant as the description outlines, and because the owners weren't about when we arrived we found it difficult to find somewhere to eat before places closed (and also missed finding out about the beach, gardens, etc in time to make use of them#. Extras included a small decanter of port, some wine, beer and chocolates, but at the expense of basics. The breakfast #stuff left in the fridge# was fine, but not what we'd expect from a B&B. there was regular food like juice, real tea and a range of dairy products and fruit, it was a bit mean to supply 4 slices of bread, 2 fruit and 2 white #ie, no choice of brown/wholemeal). Incontinent dog was let out near checkout time.
The bed, etc, was very comfortable and whist the style was a bit dated I suspect this is a feature of Tasmanian domestic architecture. The point of this place is the views so if you're noticing the furniture that's pretty unfortunate.
