"Great property once you get there. A challenge coming off the train and having to take luggage over 1 km to the hotel as no taxis wanted to take you as you are competing with the traffic rushing back to the shops so they make 10/person to transport while they would only make 10 for a 4 minute drive. The hotel has a shuttle to the ports and it was excellent and a wide variety of complimentary breakfast options"

While the property does show some age, that’s to be expected in an older European city, and it adds to the overall charm rather than taking away from the experience. The location is convenient for anyone needing a comfortable place to stay before or after a cruise. Most importantly, the staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Overall, a good value and a pleasant stay for travelers passing through Civitavecchia."

"The room has a serious health concern. There was an extremely strong mold and mildew smell throughout the room — so strong that even two days after checking out, my pajamas still carried the odor. The environment felt damp and unclean, to the point where we did not even want to touch many of the surfaces in the room. It honestly felt more like a neglected roadside motel than a properly maintained hotel room."

The only negative comment was that the mattress was very uncomfortable. The pool area and terrace bar have incredible views. The bartender was exceptional."
