The checkin process was not good, as we arrived from California at 12:30am, only to be told that a water line had broken and there was no water in the entire hotel!! Then we were sent to a room that had already been used by someone, so had to change rooms. Water was not repaired until 2:30 pm the next day and hot water until 7:00pm that night. No water also meant no breakfast. We were compensated for the room the first night.

The rooms! Hands down the best room I've ever stayed in given the price.

Overall this property was a good place to stay so we could spread out and have extra room for our trip. Communication was fine and checkin instructions were very detailed. I cannot give it 5 stars however. The shower curtain and shower were dirty. There were stains on the bed linens and the comforter as well as a hole in the comforter. The property also charges $5/day for parking which was not disclosed in the original price. The exterior of the property had a dog area and people did not clean up after their dog — this was also the area we were required to park.

Everything related to the hotel was awesome. Very old and charming building, I could stay there for years. No laundry or parking on site though. Only thing that was irritating was panhandling in the area, not that it’s the hotel’s fault.

The rug was dirty and ants were in the bathroom.

The elevators were out of order but the staff was kind & did all they could. Unfortunately the advertised pool was NOT available, was still on your website, disappointed many in our large group. Should keep website up to date
