the eating area is too small for the number of people staying at the hotel. there is a smell on the 8th floor that should be researched. and someone should make sure builders of motels create a slight slope in showers for proper drainage.

What i like is the location is close to my friends house, and the staff is very helpfull, What i dont like is i stay for 6 nights on 6th floor and every nights around 12 ish am someone like tidying up the rooms so noisy, and the rooms isnt very clean the sheet of the beds lots of spots, i complain already and they gave me a new ones its better but the floor is dirty..the fridge inside the rooms it doesnt work, and every single day someone will clean up my rooms even i told them not too..and move my property inside the room as well, and the food really bad..the nasi uduk is the worse, maybe next time ill stay here again maybe...i hope you guys can fix this please thanks

Room was terrible dirty , dusty and bed sheets was dirty and expecting this room to sell to guest to sleep with . Bathroom towels are dirty and dark Super beware and not recommend to stay

The hotel is located in a nice area, with shopping and restaurants nearby. The room was very dirty, old and in need of remodeling. Staff was very helpful and went the extra mile. Bed was decent, but NOT the Select Comfort Bed as stated in the listing. Pool was quite noisy on the weekend. Buffet breakfast was nice.

This is my 2nd stay after a long break. NO hair dryer in room, I asked for 1 at night, no news. Next morning I called again, they say all loaned out, no unit for me, what a bad hair day. Shouldn't all rooms be equipped with one ? Parking fee - all taxis that comes in need to pay parking fee, and they claimed from me, It was quite a disappointing stay

What is the meaning of CONFIRMED RESERVATION ?
The first night I stayed at Ara was excellent. Then when I returned 6 days later and I had a confirmed reservation, they told me that they had no room for me and that they bumped my reservation to another guest. They put me over at another hotel and that took another hour or so. Then that room that A/C didn’t work well. So then I called the front desk immediately and I wanted to cancel my reservations. They never returned my calls for several hours. Then when I contacted Hotels.com to cancel, they were very helpful. Then the staff at the hotel weee calling me every 5-10 minutes about the cancelation. It’s kind of funny. I’m just the cash paying guest. And they treat me like I made the mistake. Next time I’m in Jakarta, I won’t stay at Ara or Atria.

Ara's physical condition declined greatly...
I have stayed at Ara hotel for the past three years but this is my last day. The price has been going up steadily but the quality and the cleanliness has gone down steadily as well. The sheets are no longer white. The walls and the doors are quite dirty.

Nice hotel overall for family, swimming pool is great for kids. Small things to watchout is there was few stains on the bed sheet and towels, but you can always ask those to be replaced.

Nice stay. Clean room and bathroom. Friendly staff. The only draw back... linen has stain.. in multiple areas. But perhaps it was because the stain cant be removed by washing? Got kettle for coffee. Will repeat stay when needed. Overall good.

Great hotel needing a volume knob for live music
I've stayed in a few places around Gading Serpong and the Ara Hotel is excellent value for money. It is new, clean and nice, while not being overly lavish or posh. The only slight downside was the evening live music at the pool area is invasively loud. I actually like live music, but you could hear miles away! And the 18th birthday pool party took over the whole bar area and pool with doof-doof music for the whole neighbourhood.

Great new hotel
It's a new hotel, so not all taxi driver knows where it is yet. We arrived after midnight and it took us about 20 minutes to find where it is. But the hotel itself is great. Their staffs always full of smile and greet you. Brekky choice was big and u pretty much covered. Pool is big too n pretty quiet. Bathroom amenities were perfect, ev3n includes cotton buds n shower cap. On the last day they asked if we'd like to extend the stay, but we already have other hotel booked in other area. But the next time we r back to Tangerang, we'll be goin back to Ara!

On a ministry trip from U.S. --- hotel undergoing massive renovation,but still neat and as clean as possible. Staff better than the finest New York hotel. Only down side was spotty and weak WiFi.

Room for the price was fine for the area. But air condition was loud throughout the night. Small refrigerator was quite loud. I have stayed here before but this room was particularly noisy. Staff was courteous and seemed to want to improve on their service.

This was my 5th. stay at the ARA. The staff's friendliness and readiness to serve is above the average. The only setbacks are, the noise of the aircondition, causing me sleepless nights and the Satelite TV programs. No CNN, BBC or any other Sport channel, that offers Golf. FOX is not particularly the best of sport channels. After 4 nights, one feels like having been cut off from the outside world, as ASIA TV is surely not up to standard for non-asian overseas travellers. I stay at the ARA as an alternative, in case no rooms available at the ATRIA, where I have no such things as noisy aircons and a poor offer of TV Sport and News programs.
