"Easily one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. The house was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It easily fit all of our needs while we were in town for a family wedding. The host was extremely accommodating and helpful, and made the whole process easy from start to finish. The location is nice as it’s close to the beach and nearby restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I do recommend a bath mat for inside the shower. It was quite slippery. Our family felt very comfortable with the house and the overall accommodations. The area is gorgeous and you have wonderful neighbors on both sides. There is a possibility my wife left a pair of earrings. We live close, so we could come pick them up if they are found. Thank you Fern!"

Beach front property steps from Long Island Sound!

"This beach front house is cute and you definitely feel right on the water. The view from the primary bedroom makes you feel like you’re on a cruise ship since all you see is water from the bed. The outdoor shower and hot tub were great extras. The water at low tide is great and you can walk to the nearby salt island. When it is high tide there is a tiny beach next door that has a little sand that you can go to. The house is very well themed as a “salty seahorse” with multiple seahorses throughout the house. Probably a house better suited for all adults than little kids but still a fun location by the water."

"We were travelling to a wedding in Essex CT for the weekend and needed a place close by that could accommodate five of us with two bathrooms, and found this lovely cottage in Westbrook, MA. Our stay here made our family wedding weekend even more enjoyable with the very quick walk to the beach and relaxed comfortable vibe. The cottage was very clean, with a great coastal ambience and set up nicely for all we might need. All of the comforts of home were there and we found ourselves in need of nothing, and made use of the vast game collection present. The furniture was very comfortable and all was in excellent condition. It was an unusually hot weekend and the cottage stayed reasonably cool with the AC's already installed and extra fans provided just in case. We were able to walk to the beach in the morning (literally three minutes with mug in hand) to enjoy the views and then found time to sit out on the beach chairs provided for a bit before the wedding. There was a lovely hammock in the back yard and plenty of privacy and parking for our three cars. Any questions I had were answered immediately and the host was in touch regularly to ensure all went well. Check in and out was a breeze. I highly recommend a stay here in this beautiful area and cottage."

"This is exactly what I would expect from a super eight. It was clean safe comfortable bed. Also AC worked good bathroom was cleaned. They don’t have breakfast being served there, but that’s not an issue for me. It’s in a safe location. Very close to downtown old Saybrook that has a lot of beautiful restaurants and shopping for the value. I would stay here again."

"We went all over while there from hiking to Rhode Island.. Great location. Go to The Nordic inn those island.. It was bucket list for my adult foodie children. Laura was awesome with communication and very flexible. "
