The property and hotel staff were truly excellent - it was easily the best resort we've ever stayed at. Special thank you to Estefany in the customer service department for their assistance when Expedia lied to us and refused to assistance with a booking problem. We did have one negative experience with the airport-hotel transfer; the hotel recommended a taxi service that frauded our credit card. I don't necessarily blame them for that company's actions, but I do think it should be noted as guest safety should be #1.

It is far from the beach, it has limited beach axis. It is rocky, and not enjoyable we personally did not like that. It is full of dried leaves on the ground and buried jungly and it’s very small, and the night shows are very limited with an extra charge. The dining was also very limited, à la carte you had to make a reservation prior to dine, which was almost impossible, because some of them required two weeks in advance.

Samantha and Aurora were amazing and always very helpful. The top shelf liquor was only in certain places and if they did not have it, they would not bother to get it. The rooms were average at best. I didn’t view this resort as luxury but average at best. Again, kudos to Samantha and Aurora for trying to make our experience satisfying.

Staying at Sian Ka’an was great! It was cool to access Cobá, Akumal and Tulum as well to go to the beachside. We mostly stayed at those but only slept at Sian Ka’an.

We had a great stay and are actually sad we had to leave so soon! Everyone from Nicole that checked us in to Pedro that took us to our room were absolutely amazing. Javier in the concierge helped us throughout the whole stay! There is nothing I would change; only a clarification form contents that says the Sian Khan property is not at the actual beach. I was looking for that experience but everything was great anyway.

Everything was amazing, only thing was the transportation to the airport. They came at 10:50 AM and our flight wasn’t until 4:30 in the EVENING, we sat at the airport for hours. That was frustrating but other than that the place is overall amazing and I’d book again.

I booked this hotel because of the beautiful grounds and amenities. The food was great. Because we stayed at Sian Ka'an we were able to eat at the restaurants at all of the Principe Resorts. Alux was excellent. Our second favorite was the Grand Tortuga at the Tulum Resort. The buffet at the Luxury Akumal was also very good. The room, especially the bathroom was a little dated and could use refurbishing. But the price was not nearly as expensive as other five-star resorts. So, I suppose you get what you pay for. The entertainment was very enjoyable as well. My husband and I actually enjoyed the fact that Sian Ka'an was not so " noisy or roudy" The downside is the beach. We had to take the tram to the Tulum Resort and walk about 250 yards north to actually swim where it wasn't rocky and actually blue green water with a sandy bottom and gentle ocean waves. We both play tennis and the tennis instructor Nester, was fantastic. We really enjoyed his instruction and by the end of our stay he felt like family. We took a day trip to the actual beach in Tulum and the water was spectacular! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt it was a great value for the price!

Sian Kaan was wonderful for our honeymoon! The staff were excellent, Misael, Alina, Eugenio, Roque, the whole entertainment team and the team at the front desk were all great! It’s quiet, safe, and a beautiful place to relax. The beach is a hike to get to, but the shuttles come every ten minutes to take you there, however I don’t think we ever waited longer than 5. The pools are beautiful and refreshing. The superior penthouse room was gorgeous and the rooftop jacuzzi made our stay! We hope to return in the future.

We have stayed at Bahía Príncipe Sian Kaan several times. The property has gone downhill. The furniture and window treatments are worn. The rooms are spotlessly clean however and for the most part the service was excellent. The food and drinks are not what they used to be. Other than Alux the specialty dining wasn’t up to its previous standards. The Sian kaan beach bar is closed by 430 pm which is far too early. Beach chairs are limited unless you get there early. The new Sian kaan beach is rocky. At its greatest depth the water was below my waist. I won’t be returning.

I am a return guest and over the years little things could be upgraded this time I found the entertainment staff not as good as it was and not very engaging ... for sure rooms are the same as they wr 7 years ago so update's need to be done. Beds are fair This is still a wonderful place, safe for single travelers and lgbtq ,shows are good , staff friendly and very clean complex no need to travel out very far unless ya wish to do some excursion ... but be advised research your stuff do not rely on hotel they will tell some lies to get you to take excursions like distance, inclusions, activities so on ....the buffet well I have seen way better from them but don't get me wrong you will not starve ... but if you have allergies it can be a little hard to manage as not all items are listed or in their right place exp chicken identification on pork or simply no label for many items, soups can be inverted . But if ya wish to relax in clean safe environment this is a great place and the shows on location are generally very good such as rock, circus,80, silent disco and more ... as far as golfers we are told it is wonderful as well . ages of client varies very much early twenty to 70

I had a beautiful days in the Bahia principe luxury sian ka'an adults only. It was peaceful/clean and very relaxing which is what I was going for. My only critique would be suggesting to go to one of the other attached resorts for more of a younger vibe. Myself and friend and 33/35 and most of the residents I the adults only were of retirement age. I was nervous to go off resort but if you want an amazing beach, ask the resort to get a taxi to the Tulum beach clubs. Club Mia was so nice. Also splurge for private transfer to the resort from airport. We arrived at 230pm at airport. But didn't arrive to the resort until 630pm because there were several pickup and drop offs along the way.

Room had water leaking in. Ruined a pair of shoes. Let the staff know, no one ever came to check. This was my 8th time at Sian Ka'an, would never come back.
