The staff were extremely welcoming and professional. It was not at the center of the city but it was easily accessible by tram and bus. Good breakfast and a great price compared to other hotels in Tampere.

The staff was wonderful and very compassionate. When my son needed an ambulance to be brought to the Er , they helped us as well as arranging transportation. The staff was always smiling and offering their services. Thank you so much!

Convenient, clean, comfortable- recommended
Hotel is easy to access from the road network but out of town, so good if you want a convenient location for travel but nothing nearby in terms of food/drink. We drove into Tampere for an evening meal and found free parking, so no hardship. Room was very clean and comfortable, giving us three proper single beds (which is unusual for a triple room but very welcome). Bathroom was a semi wet room but you are provided with a squigy device to help clean up after a shower. Breakfast was good - standard continental offering and good coffee. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel!

Good location and easy to find
Nice and quiet hotel, clean too. 24 h coffee shop convenient. It was not so easy to adjust temperature in our room, the instructions could be find on info-TV but we didn't know that. Restaurant offers large portions. The breakfast that includes in price was standard but fresh.

Excellent Hotel
Hotel is Norlandia Care is an excellent Hotel to stay... Pros - new building, spacious, clean and refreshing, very good breakfast, smooth check in/out, quiet surroundings. Cons - a bit away from city centre so best if you have your own car, WIFI in room was not good enough Overall - many notches above a good hotel..will definitely prefer this hotel for next stay.

Ten minute walk to the TAMK bus stop through the hospital, then a ten minute ride to the center. Good and clean. Doesn't come with a coffee maker.

Convenient For The Hospital
We have stayed here many times whilst working at the hospital. This is good for us as the facilities are great. The staff can't do enough for you, all you have to do is ask them. They all speak English which is a great help as none of us speak Finnish. Oh yes the food is great value for money and really good. Highly recommended.

Best for its price in town
Nicely decorated spacious rooms with plenty of light. Clearly from the better end of the hospitals turned into hotels. Have used it for business trips several times and will use again. For those who have a car and who dont worry about the active hospital next door

Modern hotel within a university hospital complex
I was visiting a friend who was spending time in the complex's hospice, which was why I chose this Tampere hotel. Only 30 mins (max) drive from airport so it was a very convenient choice for me. I was pleased with my lovely spacious room & very impressed with the food on offer in the self service restaurant. A la cart menu was also available in the evening. It seemed to be more of a hotel where people/families stay either to visit patients or even if they're a patient themselves. I think I even saw some treatment rooms within the hotel itself. There was also a maternity unit nearby. Lots of hospital staff ate their lunch here. Unusual in that I'd never experienced such a hotel before but it certainly didn't spoil my stay or put me off. It was very interesting. There was a sauna available but as I was only there for 2 nights I didn't get the opportunity to use it. The staff were friendly & very helpful. It was a fairly short drive into Tampere city so one could take a taxi or get a bus. Tampere itself is a great city with lots of history. Even if I wasn't visiting a sick friend, I would happily stay in this hotel again :)

Awesome hotel
I wasn't aware this hotel was essentially connected to a hospital when I reserved the rooms, however I was more than satisfied with every aspect of it. Everything about this hotel was perfect. Even though it wasn't in the downtown area the drive into the city took only about five minutes. The staff was great, room was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was super!

A hotel at the right place and right time
As you may have read before, Norlandia Care is not just a hotel, but mostly a patience hotel, located in the campus of Tampere hospital and Medical University. So if your business is about each of them, Norlandia is the place to stay. Nevertheless it is a perfect hotel in other cases: nice rooms, yummy food, 24/7 buffet and wonderful lobby services. E.g. I left my phone charger in the room and asked the hotel staff to ship it by mail - received it even before my phone was discharged :)

Oli siisti ja rauhallinen hotelli. Avara aula ja hyvän kokoiset upeat huoneet. Todella ystävällinen vastaanotto. Hieman hankalassa paikassa sairaala alueella mutta ei se loppujen lopuksi haitannut. Ratikkakin kulkee sairaala alueelle. Voin suositella.

Hyvä sijainti lähellä ratikan pysäkkiä. Erittäin siisti ja hyväkuntoinen. Hiljainen huone. Aamiainen melko vaatimaton. Pahin puute on opastuksen puute viimeisen risteyksen kohdalla. Hotellin nimi ei myöskään näy kadulle.
