Strata Barn is an elegant and sophisticated property in the heart of everything. We rented a car (which we could park in the garage - yay!), but hardly needed it. We could walk to Hyde Park and all the shopping, bars, restaurants, and nightlife within 5 minutes and to the Tampa Boardwalk along the bay within 8 minutes. It is a short drive to downtown, the Tampa Bay Riverwalk and Armature Works, and only 15 minutes from the airport.The house itself is well laid out with living space on one level and the bedrooms on the second level, with additional living and sleeping space on the second level as well. There are spacious balconies on both floors to hang out and view the downtown skyline during sunset and as the city lights come up. The house is very soundproof, with blackout shades, so we had a great night's sleep on four comfortable beds. Each room has a coffee maker and a mini fridge, so you get to start your morning at your own pace before you have to interact with the rest of the house guests.The kitchen is well stocked with beautiful brand new appliances, so we could cook and eat in when we wanted to. We were a group of 6 girls sharing two bedrooms and an additional sleeping area, and three bathrooms and we were very comfortable.I would highly recommend this for couples or friends traveling together. It is not a good space for people with limited mobility or small children, though.We hope we can stay at Strata Barn again when we are in the Tampa Bay Area! ##### Tatum H.
