It was a convenient location - we could walk to restaurants, Hyde Park, and along Bayshore Blvd. Four people fit comfortably and the apartment was clean, organized and had useful amenities (laundry, toiletries, plush towels). We'd highly recommend this if you're looking for a place to stay in Tampa! The only issue we had was on our last night - there was a group staying in the unit below and when they came home at 1am they were playing music and chatting loudly. All the details were thought of remolded and very clean. Stayed there on my way down from Georgia so my check in was at night and the dark therefore a little hard to find under those circumstances but once we went inside, everything was perfect. The water pressure was fantastic in the shower. Usually places like that that have been converted don’t have great water pressure but this was fantastic. The backyard was super cute. I could not find the switch to turn the lights on in the back, but I had a flashlight, so there were no issues. The kitchen was fully stocked coffee maker, everything I needed. This day was absolutely fantastic. The beds were comfortable if I come back to Tampa I will definitely be staying there. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe and quiet. I was in town for only 2 days to visit my daughter in college. The only issue was the smell of the apartment. I assume it is probably because pets are allowed. It was not overwhelming but noticeable. If your a pet person you probably wont even notice it. Unfortunately, I had to leave early due to a hurricane that was coming towards Tampa. I contacted the homeowner to ask if he was willing to give me a partial refund due to the fact that I had to leave early because of the hurricane, but I never received a response. ##### Joseph M. Just an 8-minute walk from the picturesque Bayshore Drive and centrally located near the University of Tampa, it provided us with easy access to some of the best sights and experiences the city had to offer. The building is older so alot of creaking in the floor boards and the stairs are just old and steep. The yard is nice and the bathroom is acceptable. The Habana Guest House (apt 2) is a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with a sizable living room and kitchen overlooking a private deck (w/grill) and fenced in backyard with beautiful landscaping. It is located in the heart of Palma Ceia within 0.5 miles of the amazing bayshore boulevard with an uninterrupted 11 miles of sidewalk around Tampa Bay connecting to the famous River Walk in downtown Tampa. There are an abundant number of local restaurants within walking distance or a short drive, many of which are outstanding (hat tip to "Taco Dirty"). The neighborhood is safe and cozy, with so many beautiful houses with different architectures. The hosts, Aaron and Ara, were extremely responsive to all our questions about the property, from the initial booking to general questions about the area and even simple things like how the Internet service works (they have amazing download speeds BTW). They are 5 star hosts. We highly recommend this property if staying in the Palma Ceia/downtown Tampa area and looking for a safe, clean, cozy apartment with amble room in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. ##### Peter B.
