This house met our basic needs. We were attending a conference and used the property like a hotel room for two nights.
The house is undergoing some renovations and the kitchen walls were only partially there resulting in significant gaps. To us the furnishings were more cobbled than eclectic, but that is a matter of taste.
There were TV's in both bedrooms but no TV in the living room which made watching TV together impossible.
When we first arrived we were so disappointed by the place that we discussed leaving before unpacking. But since we knew we would only be there to sleep, shower and change clothes we decided to stay.
Obliviously this property was not to our liking, but we are probably in the minority judging by the comments in the guestbook.
The property manager, Joshua, was very nice, but was unable to solve the front door lock problem before our departure. The lock worked fine when we went out and came back the first night. When we returned from dinner the second night the lock would not unlock. It took 15 minutes of turning the key with varying amounts of pressure to finally get the lock to open. We used the deadbolt overnight, but had to leave the front door unlocked the next morning while we attended our last meeting. We considered taking our suitcases to the meeting but decided to come back to the house to change before starting our 5-hour drive home. Thus we left nothing of real value while the door was unlocked. Still, very unsettling.
There is a great selection of coffee, a drip coffee maker and a French press.
