Should be cheaper

Posted 09-Jan-2017
I was expecting more for the price. The furniture and AC and TV are very old. It was below average clean. I would have paid half of what I did for the room I stayed in. I honestly felt like I wanted to leave as soon as possible. I guess it didn't match my expectations and comfort level. Although, checking lady was nice and the hotel location is perfect for a stop by in the I10 road.

N/A

Pros: It's surrounded by eating places.
Cons: They can do better when it comes to the breakfast in the hotel. I would suggest a huge catering: Big pots of Grits and Oatmeal; eggs, breakfast meats
Location: You can get a Brochure on Tallahassee; that can give you a lot of information regarding your visit
To me it is across from a beautiful green forest and in a nice quiet area. A lot of eating places nearby; A waffle house restaurant on the premises; and a Walmart walking distance. The cab services is excellent; and you can catch a bus a travel a long as you can. It's a nice budget hotel; if you cannot afford other hotels. I hear is it beautiful in the spring and in the summer. Hopefully one day can get another chance to visit. ~Cassandra~

Disappointing

Posted 27-Dec-2016
Pros: Yolanda, the front desk agent
Cons: The room, the bed, the lighting in the room, fridge and bathroom
Location: I got a rental car and with map quest it was easy to go to the mall, museum, movies and various eating establishments.
Judge for yourself 1) You sit on the bed near the window facing the television and it makes a noise as if there is metal underneath the mattress 2) Not enough light over the sink to see 3) The refrigerator was not clean which made me skeptical to use the coffee maker 4) Never got a new bag for the ice bucket (and you really needed to have one) 5) The socket by the sink (both sockets) had electricity however would not hold the plug. Therefore, could not use the hair dryer or any electrical device in either socket (yes, I told the front desk agent, however no one came to the room 6) Not enough wall sockets in the room 7) Extremely poor lighting in the room 8) Finally, something bit both occupants of the room. Upon our return had to go to the doctor for medication and was informed that we had been bitten by bed bugs. 8) Breakfast was as if someone went to 7/11 and bought donuts and placed them out. Best part of the trip was Yolanda at the front desk. No other agent I encountered was as personable, professional, pleasant and genuinely seemed to care. She is the only reason we did not check out and go to one of the hotels down the road. Property requires a great deal of room renovations.

Good luck

Rodents in wall. No sleep. Trampoline bed not assembled correct in disabled room. Sat on end of bed, ending up on floor. Happy, happy, joy, joy. That was just what I needed. Wyndham has lost my business.
