Relaxing, Quiet Village On Gozo Island

"I want to give this place 5* because it is lovely and our host Alexandra was a wonderful host. unfortunately I cant. We still had a great holiday. Alexandra’s communication was fantastic, she was there at check in to show us around and had prepared a welcome basket of essentials and some local wine. The villa is lovely and has everything you need. The pooloutside area is nice, with 4 sunbeds and parasols for shade. The down sides, the refrigerator does need an upgrade, as it struggled (we had 40 degree heat!) to keep things cold enough, especially when we were going in and out getting drinks. The AC in the main bedroom/main house also needs an upgrade, as it just wasn’t strong enough to cool it down to be comfortable. The AC in the other two bedrooms is great and we chose to put our 3 girls in 1 room and have the other bedroom, leaving the main one unused. Again, it was extremely hot when we were there. It was annoying finding euros for the AC and Alexandra told us she would have provided change if we had asked, so don’t be afraid to do that as it was a pain finding 10/11 euros every day to make sure the AC lasted all night! I realise this is a common thing in Malta though. I think the most disappointing thing was the construction work which took place for the last 3-4 days directly behind the garden/pool. Diggers, trucks, dropping rocks, cement maker, a lot of dust and noise. This was not the hosts fault, but we should have been made aware it could happen. I would recommend"

"We had a fabulous stay. Our room was clean and very in keeping with the age of the building. Breakfast was lovely with a large selection to chose from. The cappuccino was exceptionally good. Our host was welcoming and very helpful. His tagliatelle was really good. The pool area was clean and had plenty of sunbeds. The main attraction being two beautiful rabbits running free. If we were to come back to Gozo we would certainly book here again."

"10 out 10! Our first visit to Gozo and we weren't disappointed. A super house located in the lovely and unspoilt village of Gharb. Alexandra and Aldo we're amazing hosts, super helpful, they made everything easy from beginning to end. A great place to stay, would highly recommend."
