Great hotel. Beautiful on the beach. All the Thai staff are excellent and are warm and welcoming. Good breakfast and pool snacks. Sassi's restaurant is very comfortable and nice in the evening. Great pool with plenty of activities. Wel eqiped gym. Overall great service and the usual smile from the Thai staff. The only problem I encountered was on check in from a non Thai person. I had initally booked for 2 adults but was travelling on my own. My room was changed from a 1st floor room with a balcony to a ground floor room that had adjoining doors to the next room and with a terrace that was partly shared with the next door room. One of the worst locations in the hotel with no privacy on the terrace. I therefore did not use the terrace andvthis somewhat took away from my holiday.I felt that as a solo traveller I was treated differently having paid the same for the room that a couple would have paid. In the hotels credit in next few days after I spoke with Thai staff I was offered a different room. I may not return to this hotel because of the way that solo travellers are treated.

This resort is perfection. Wonderful renovated room. Beautiful grounds, pool, bar and restaurant. Great Happy hour. I could not for the only time in my life find anything lacking in a resort. Awesome.

First impression on arrival very poor ... front entrance looked very run down and poorly maintained .. not at all to the standard expected of a 4 star hotel . Lack of attention to detail very evident in other aspects of the hotel making our stay very disappointingf

The Ramada Resort is amazing! In the U.S., Ramada isn't known as a top tier hotel chain. However, this Ramada Resort is almost perfect. The staff is as friendly as I've ever encountered. I can't thank them enough. I fell ill before I arrived. The staff arranged transportation for me to see the doctor and they drove me back to the resort. That evening, I had a get well card and flowers delivered to my room. Everyday, the staff asked me how I was doing. Simple the best people I've ever encountered. The resort itself is wonderful. Amazing pool, good breakfast and right on the beach. As for the local area, every restaurant we walked to had good food. There is a local night market within walking distance which was nice. Right across the resort is a good restaurant and a good place for laundry. The first time my wife and I vacationed in Khao Lak, we stayed at the J.W. Marriott. Ramada Resort Khao Lak is our new favorite. We stayed 7 days and will stay longer next time. Thank you Ramada staff for everything.

Nice hotel with modern rooms, all facing the gardens or beach, ground floor with verandas and all others with balcony’s. Staff are very efficient and friendly. Breakfast is good, restaurants were largely empty as there are over 50 local restaurants within 10 minutes walk at half the price!
