We spent 2 nights at Hotel Sidhartha, while in Agra. The location is great and you can walk to the Taj Mahal. As well there is a very lively bazaar just south of the hotel. It is not a 3 star hotel but room was clean and the facilities worked great, generally. Had a little trouble with the air conditioner the second night but nothing out of the ordinary.
The restaurant is nothing to write home about but the food is good and has a selection of western and India meals.
For the price we paid I was really happy with what we got. I would definitely recommend it for those who are just making a pit stop in Agra before heading elsewhere.
Good clean hotel, out of town meaning nothing is close other than the Taj Mahal - which is very important if that is why you are there. Relaxing pool and welcoming staff and AC when its very hot outside.
Having arrived at 10PM and leaving at 8AM the next morning, I was not able to fully appreciate this wonderful hotel. The pool area, the grounds and the overall ambience is fantastic. Service is impeccable and the breakfast is good. Overall, a very nice hotel.
We arrived very late to this hotel due to delayed trains, regardless of the time we were welcomed and had great service from the hotel staff. This is a home stay, which mean the stay is very unique not many guests and you get to share with the home owners. Breakfast is included and it is great! eggs and toast with tea or coffee is a great way to start your day. Next, they help you plan your day free of charge, they advise you of the routes to take and places to visit in case you need the help. The hospitality is out of this world, they are fluent in english and are just great! I loved my stay and i wish i could have spent more days in Agra i really recommend this place!
We enjoyed a one night stay in this ultra modern hotel. The room was very comfortable, spacious and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and bath great for tired muscles. Lighting could be better but this seems to be a theme in most modern hotels. Finishing of some work in the bathroom could be better.

Synonymous with love, loss, and beauty, the Taj Mahal, on a bank of the Yamuna, is one of the world's most recognizable monuments. This white marble mausoleum of Mumtaz Mahal, the beloved 3rd wife of Emperor Shah Jahan, is considered to be the zenith of Mughal architecture. While you may reserve your awe for the mausoleum, do not forget to admire the other beautiful structures in the complex.
