We had an okay stay at Just Sleep. The location is amazing and close to shopping by and food options as well as the main station. The reception area and team were very nice and they provided drinks and snacks through most of the day. The room (a Hollywood King) was laid out well to make the best use of a smallish space. There were a few issues with the room, however. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It was very very hard - so hard that we considered moving hotel just to get a good night’s sleep. We ended up being given an additional mattress topper and a single duvet to lie on but these didn’t help much. There was no bedside table or plugs on one side of the bed which meant nowhere for one person to put phones to charge, glasses etc. The bathroom was large but very dark with insufficient lighting. The window of the room looked out over a dull street and was streaked and dirty. The wallpaper and bathroom tiles looked a bit scuffed and faded. We had breakfast on one morning and found the selection to be good but there were issues with the temperature of the food - the scrambled eggs were also cold, along with many of the other ‘hot’ items. Breakfast was expensive (400 TWD per person) for what was in on offer so we skipped it in favour of better options close by. Overall, a slightly disappointing experience.

Very impressive with this hotel. Clean room, friendly and helpful staffs and located in the heart of shopping and dining area in Taipei! Highly recommended and will definitely stay at this hotel again when I am in Taipei again!

Well operated 3-star hotel with 4 star quality. Overall exceeded my expectations in terms of room near & tidy. Housekeeping is v efficient with fast response. cosy lobby area is a big plus & except 2 technical area for improvement - never seems to get the ideal shower temperature - either too hot or too cold. Room feels cold despite switching off aircon. Perhaps could add electric blanket for comfortable sleep.

More than having Just a Sleep.
The stay was amazing. Just Sleep chain has never failed us. Considered that it is situated in Taipei, the room space is ample for 3 people. The rooms are very clean. The hotel provides each guest with 2 different types of pillow to cater to our preference. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Whenever the staff saw us approaching the counter, they will stop whatever they are doing and wait for us to reach the counter. The lounge has a variety of drinks and snacks that we can help ourselves to. If you need a perk-me-up coffee, just drop by any time. There is a free laundromat for guests to use. It was useful especially when we were on a 14-days trip. Finally, the location is good. It is very near Ximending, just across the road. There is a MRT exit to the left of the hotel, however, it has a flight of stairs. If you are carrying heavy luggage, you will need to try the exit at Ximending or another exit further away from the hotel. On a side note, there is a Sanrio theme 7-Eleven below the hotel. Check it out! It is cute!

Staffs are friendly. The most impressed is they open reception floor for hotel guest. They offer tea and snacks and the environment is very friendly and family oriented. We have guest came to see us and we could chill there.

Nice room at a convenient location
Nice and clean room. We stayed for three nights in a quadruple room. Decent space with two queen beds. The room came with complimentary potato chips and bottled water which were replenished every day. Hotel has complimentary coffee, tea and snacks at the lobby. The hotel also provided complimentary washing machine and dryer for us to do our laundry. A plus point especially travelling with kids. Level 8 also has a mini play room for the kids to burn off some of their energy!

What's good : The room has a dining table set up for 4 and separate shower and toilet cubicle. Shower head has good water pressure. Aircon is cold enough but exhaust is a bit noisy after adjusting to smallest. New front load washers and dryers so laundry was easy. Provided Panasonic nano hair dryer which was great. Snack bar from noon till midnight and staff were super helpful and efficient. What's ok: Breakfast was average, sufficient but you are better off going for local eateries. The bad: the beds were not comfortable. They laid a thin hard gym like mattress on top of the actual mattress. The pillow was flat and give us only 1 pillow per bed. We did not sleep well for the 3 nights

Love this place, convenient and very accessible to Ximenting night market and other shopping center. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Buffet breakfast is reasonable for what you have paid for your accommodation. Clean and quiet with laundry and play area for the kids.

Great hotel for our family- convenient, enjoyed the breakfast each morning and coffee all day. Staff were very helpful and kind. Common area was nice for bringing takeout and eating as a group together. Game night with snacks in the afternoon. Laundry facilities very easy to use. Overall it had everything we needed for our week long stay.

Pleasant hotel, quite comfy. Just that its a distance away from the MRT station though its covered walkway. Room can sleep 4 comfortably, with daily housekeeping but no vacuuming of the floor.

Location is superb, next to Ximen Station and 3 mins walk to Ximending. Hollywood Room was spacious and daily housekeeping was great. My 4th time staying in this hotel, newly renovated. As far as I can remember, they shifted the laundry room from level 7 to level 5. They installed a gym at level 6 too. Stayed in room 717, as usual, fantastic experience, comfortable bed and a very nice play to chill and unwind at Just Cafe at level 5. Keep up the good work!

Room was spacious for family with 2 young kids but definitely can't fit 6 as advertised, so read the bed size instead of depending of what was claimed. Hotel is just across the road from Ximending, so food and shopping are easily accessible.

Love how the hotel is located at a walking distance to Ximending and direct underpass to the MRT. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. We booked a family room and it was very spacious. I love how big is their lobby area (level 5) where people can gather, chill and eat there before going back up to the room and there’s amenities like coffee machine/water dispenser and snacks bar area open till late.

I have met the most Horrible receptionist in Just Sleep Ximending. A short hair girl receptionist received guests with indifferent attitude. She received my booking like a dentist clinic receptionist. She proceeded my booking routinely but with a very cold attitude. I was the only one guest checking in, but she was in a rush to explain the hotel area. So I double checked for the direction of the breakfast area. She pointed the breakfast room with one finger, not a word explained. Afterwards, she stared at me with wide eyes and said, “I already told you”. I was astounded by this frustrating and horrible attitude. I am disappointed and I regret booking this hotel. This is just happened recently. If you plan to book this hotel in near future, it is very likely you will be served by this horrible attitude. Don’t be conceived by the good looking hotel pictures. With price paid for this hotel, you can have many other hotel choices with much better services.

Very happy that its a new and modern hotel located in ximending. But its slightly further away on the oppposite side of XMD. Have to walk further down from Richardson Hotel. The rooms are really new and nicely designed! Overall stay was good n comfortable. There is a convenience store and massage place right below the hotel.

I loved the vibe and the staff. The renovation looks great and staff was awesome ... helped with all my questions. The free laundry is a huge perk. One thing I would change is to have a room with a window. The rooms are a bit small so not having a window made it feel closed off.
