"This is an exceptional place to stay near Malpensa Airport. Eva is very efficient & helpful regarding check in and shuttle to from MXP (included in room price). This was the most comfortable bed & room of our one month in Italy, & we had a lot of comfortable rooms! Breakfast space is light & tasteful, excellent choice of food."

"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. I also have a couple suggestions to make the room even better:
-Provide a properly functioning coffee machine (Ours only produced 1-2 tablespoons of coffee. Maybe...

"Perfect spot close to the airport. My wife had previously fell and dislocated and fractured her shoulder so we stayed for 3 days awaiting our flight back to the states. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating Shout out to Joseph who couldn’t have been nicer.
Thanks"
"The outside doesn't look like much when you pull up; the building could definitely use a fresh coat of paint. But once you step inside, there's a strong, pleasant, clean smell, and the lobby and reception area look modern and refreshed. The rooms are also nice and modern, comfortable, and very pretty, with comfy beds and pillows, and a nice bathroom with a separate tub and shower. Everything was great on that front.
However, the 'smart' TVs were a disappointment. They aren't actually 'smart' and don't work with apps like Netflix or screen casting. Also, the room was on the warmer side, and we couldn't get the AC to cool it down, so we had to sleep with the window open.
Another thing we didn't like was that the shuttle service costs extra. I'm used to free shuttles to and from the airport, which are really common back home, so having to pay for that was another disappointment.
Overall, though, it's a beautiful hotel in a great location, just with some things that could be improved."
"We are extremely disappointed with this stay, especially as returning guests who previously had much better experiences. Unfortunately, the hotel has clearly gone downhill and no longer reflects a 5-star standard. The room was poorly cleaned with dust throughout, a dirty bathroom, cigarette butts on the balcony, and a strong smell of smoke despite requesting a non-smoking room. This is completely unacceptable.
Room service was also poor, with missing items and cold, low-quality food. Breakfast was disorganised and frustrating — staff were unhelpful, coffee repeatedly had to be requested as it was not available at the buffet, and service in general was extremely slow. We also asked several times for tea and coffee, but it took far too long to arrive. Although I specifically asked for gluten-free bread, none ever arrived, and when we asked if there was any fresh gluten-free bread or pastries available, none were provided. We travel frequently, and this is the first time we have stayed in a 5-star hotel where there were no fresh gluten-free products available at all, apart from a few sealed processed items. This is far below expected standards.
The hotel also states it is pet friendly, however dogs are not allowed in the restaurants, which was disappointing. As a result, we had to find nearby dog-friendly restaurants instead.
Public areas were overcrowded and noisy, particularly the pool, with little control from staff. Front desk service on arrival was indifferent and unwelcomin"
Sheraton Milan Malpensa Airport Hotel & Conference Center
2/10 Terrible
"Stayed at the Sheraton Milan Malpensa Airport Hotel & Conference Centre for one night before an early flight. Very disappointing experience due to inconsistent and unfair enforcement of their room occupancy policy.
We had booked multiple rooms with two queen beds for families with young children. Despite identical family setups (2 adults + 2 kids under 10), staff applied the “3 people per room” rule inconsistently—one family was allowed to stay together, while others were either forced to pay for an extra room or split up late at night with exhausted children. One person even chose to sleep at the airport rather than pay extra.
The lack of consistency and empathy made an already tiring travel day much worse. Would not recommend for families."
Holiday Inn Express Milan - Malpensa Airport by IHG
8/10 Good
"The food in the restaurant is mediocre; the “hotel shuttle” from the airport never came after 3 phone calls and an hour wait! The property is 3 minutes from the Airport "
"While very trendy and new…our first room was very cold and they had to move us…after verifying that the room was, in fact, cold…really! …apparently, the temperature is somehow controlled remotely…the next morning we didn’t have any water…it took them about an hour to get it fixed…although we were sorely inconvenienced, the staff was very nice and polite…we missed breakfast and it was part of my package…"
