I am from the local area. I just need to live outside for couple nights because the air conditioner in my bedroom was not working( and there is no way I could sleep without one).
That is, the cleanliness and the comfort( not luxury thou) is the top thing I really care. The hotel was remodeled and feels pretty new inside. Plus, the price was reasonably low and it was not very far from my home.
Speaking of the location, a busy street and a market are in walking distance( around 5 minutes). The hotel is far enough to be quiet at the nights. It's about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the main streets for both north and south directions. If you need to get to places faster, a bus stop is only 2 minutes away.
The breakfast is complementary. It's served in the cafe on the first floor. The breakfast is western style( only one combo is Asian food, still not very local) and are not bad. If you want to try out local foods, the best bet is in/near the market. There are also many breakfast shops near the hotel.
