Bungalo was excellent. The rest of the property is very tired and in desparate need up updating. The pool was closed for 3 days of our stay . The hotel did not inform us of the fact until after check in. Food was sub par. Service was inconsistent.

Baby location Good location. Nice pool area. Good curls around. needs updating. The featured restaurant was very overpriced with very average food. Drinks at the pool bar we're $20 a piece as well! We couldn't get the temperature down to be very comfortable in the room.

Property is very well groomed. Staff was always smiling and friendly. Resort is located on a white sand beach and has it's own sandy bottom lagoon pool. Grounds are very lush and tropical with sounds of exotic birds. Would come back again!

You definitely get treated depending on the type of room you book. We did a overwater bungalow and normal luxury room and it was the opposite treatment for them. The bungalow was all inclusive while a regular room charged for every extra item. It was just confusing.

The pool was one of our highlights! It felt like you were on a white sandy beach with plenty of umbrellas for shade. Another highlight was kayaking around the lagoon. Views from the room are gorgeous. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed our time here!

Its a beautiful property with wonderfully friendly staff. The services & amenities are excellent. The rooms were lovely and large. The pool is stunning and fresh water! Breakfast was very good. The le Carre restaurant was superb. A top notch fine dining experience but very expensive especially with our NZ dollars. The te Puna restaurant was excellent as well. All staff were fabulous. They accomodated our every need and looked after us so very well. You can walk 5 minutes down the road to shops, restaurants, a supermarket & the best bakery ever. Haute Bois does beautiful french bread rolls which we bought for lunch several times. The taxi ride to Papeete (must go to the markets & have dinner at the Food Trucks) is about $45 NZ and 30 mins. Well worth the trip just to see the market & town. We Returned from Moorea and had 7 hours to kill so taxied back here where we were treated fabulously while we waited. Thank you for all your kindness. I love this place and will definitely stay here again!

The property grounds are wonderful, the area outside the property is a bit run down. Snorkeling from the beach is easy and rewarding, do not dismiss it because it is a hotel. Great location for beginners. Eating at the resort is its only negative. Limited options and costly, $90 breakfast for two...really?

The resort is well situated. It is a little bit on the older side but we were very happy with our room, food, water sports offered and mini bar free of charge. The property has a nice sand pool, lots of comfortable lounging chairs and a gorgeous view on the lagoon and Moorea.

Great hotel
Very friendly staff and they actually let us check in early, unlike any other hotel in Tahiti. We got our room 2 1/2hrs early, which I was very nice. The room was large, with a comfy bed and beautiful view from the balcony. The minibar in the room is free too!! The pool is a sand bottom but is coming up in areas and not the cleanest looking. The area is beautiful though. The beach is not ‘Tahiti’ at all though. The tide is constantly low and the water just looks gross and dirty. You can rent a kayak for free, go out about 100yards and the water is 10x better. I don’t recommend the over water bungalows at this place since I wouldn’t swim near them and there’s no ladder into the water from them either. We had a late flight but no problems. We were allowed to store our luggage in a locked room. They also had showers and a room for us to use during that time. Great stay!

The staff was very helpful However, if you are staying in any of their regular rooms (not bungalow) you will be disappointed. There are small gnats everywhere (even at restaurants). We had a HUGE roach in our room also that was a horrible surprise at 1:30 am in the bathroom. They had a private reception that had music until 2:00am that kept us up. So be prepared for not getting much sleep. Music also was loud on Friday night until midnight. I complained at the front desk at 1:00am in my pajamas, and they were nice about it, but I was still awake. The bedding and towels are nice and clean but the room was old, needed painting, and just partially updated. The worse part of the stay was the selection of food. They really just have one menu at the pool restaurant and room service. We had one hamburger at the pool restaurant that was still blue inside and they rewarmed it and gave it back to us on a bloody bun that the raw hamburger was perviously on. SO Gross! Then they still billed us for the hamburger. Then the main dinning was open after 6 but the menu is outrageously priced, so we never ate there. We had room service almost every night and ate the same meal. We went to the grocery store close by and got peanut butter and jelly for lunches. We also stayed in the over water bungalow these are awesome rooms (but they should be for the price $). But still have the same issue with food at the resort.

Concierge was basically useless. Couldn’t show us a dinner menu fo Le Carre! This is your best restaurant! Gave us a brochure about brunch and Christmas Eve dinner, all of which were already over! We told her this, but she insisted we were wrong. After thirty minutes, she produced a menu. We asked about reservations at Le Coco’s, which she said she had never heard of. The luggage mover guy had to explain to her that she could make reservations there. Useless.

Front desk staff and cleaning staff are excellent.They went out of their way to be helpful. The staff at their restaurant were very slow and not very customer friendly. The food prices are way to expensive for what you get.

Over water bungalows are LUX! Food is excellent.
We stayed in one of the over water bungalows and it was EXCELLENT! Free mini-bar, champagne on arrival, super friendly staff, tidy and updated rooms, beautiful vew, and the food at the restaurant was top notch. Absolutely loved it.

Service was TERRIBLE at the pool bar - we had no servers that would come to us and the bar tender was annoyed we kept bothering him for drinks at the bar. We watched another couple wait an hour and a half after ordering their dinner and when it never came, they asked another server who acknowledged the forgetfulness of her co-worker and put in the order again for them. The person who checked us in and the older woman who served our lunch were FANTASTIC but the evening was very disappointing with the poor service. Also a band played loud broken portions of songs (seemed like a band practice) in the hotel lobby so loud you couldn't hear the very talented DJ girl at the pool bar so it was a very chaotic environment. Not relaxing. Will not return.

Fifty shades of blue!
Very nice stay. Well equipped rooms. Overwater bungalows lovely. A bit expensive however. Grocery store next door very convenient for breakfast and lunch.
