good stay

Posted 17-Oct-2016
Location: There is a lot of quick food to get to, downtown tacoma is not far away. and the hotel is very easy to get to from the free way.
for 2 day stay it was great, top floor is recomended. lots of people walking late night. comfortable bed, nice comfortable work chair at the desk. outlet is far from the work desk and the shower knob is loose (it wont stay in one temperature because it's loose). staff was awesome, very friendly. if you need a place to just rest and go this place is budget friendly.

Not great

Pros: Close to Tacoma Dome
We chose this hotel because it was close to the Tacoma Dome. The place was run down and I would never stay there again.

It was a clean place to lay down my head. Staff could have been friendlier

Plenty of places to eat. Convenient to Tacoma.

Pros: Location
Had requested a first floor room a week in advance due to a disability. Wasn't held, but did get the last one available.

You get what you pay for

This hotel was not in its best condition. Was definitely an obviously outdated but I was only looking for a cheap place to stay. It also said free breakfast but was disappointed when I went downstairs and it was only cereal pastries or you could make a waffle. Staff was friendly. I will probably stay somewhere else next time

Wont be going back there again.

The kind of hotel that you bring your own sleeping bag and pillow. Everything has stains on it. The smell of mold lingers in the room. The quality of the bathroom condiments are cheap. It seems to me like a bad part of town, lots of walking traffic. People drinking and smoking outside in the parking lot. Watch out if they put you on the second floor, because the railing and the decks are rotting out. Oh and their continental breakfast, is cereal and juice. No toast or Bagels, no scrambled eggs or even a muffin. Hopefully you like Cheerios and corn flakes. I wont be going back, I rather sleep in my Car.

Room was old. No iron in room. They allow pets so hotel Lobby smelled like wet dog. AC did not work well.

$99 regular price? This Travelodge is more like...

Pros: Free banana, orange and waffle during breakfast.
Cons: Just about everything
Location: NOT a safe neighborhood to walk around. A lot of questionable people stay here. DO NOT bring kids here.
This is a run down hotel. Patched up walls in room. Shower did not work properly, water switched from scaling hot to ice cold within seconds intermittently. TV remote worked sometimes. I couldn't even call the front desk because phone in room did not work. Very dirty throughout the hotel especially around staircase. For $68 a night, I expected I'd at least get a nice hot shower.
