B and B with style

Posted 29-Aug-2017
We spent two nights here before returning home after a two week trip. It was a wonderful surprise. Toni and Martin have done a superb job of decorating their beautiful house. The location is perfect, close to downtown but on a very quiet street. The breakfast was excellent and the conversation too. Strongly recommended for anyone visiting Tacoma

Pros: It's charm
Great B&B, just no AC in the rooms. They are even building a tree house in the yard.

Period Piece in the Present

Posted 23-Aug-2017
Pros: Style, location, history, proximity to restaurants, venues, and transit.
Cons: Front door operation needed attention! Keep the door, update the locks.
Lovely old mansion in a period-piece neighborhood, walking distance from great restaurants and light rail. Ideal for attending Tacoma Dome events-- we saw Bruno Mars with zero hassle finding parking, paying for parking, or GETTING OUT of that darned parking lot and on the road. We simply walked aboard a train 3 minutes from the Dome, and it took us to our car parked on the street near the Villa. We could have walked, but was convenient nonetheless. HUGE room with up to date services in the style of the 1920's. My cup of tea. Delicious breakfast, great hosts and a long conversation with an interesting fellow-guest. Highly recommend, with we could have stayed longer.

Nice bed and breakfast in quiet suburb.

Posted 21-Aug-2017
Pros: Good value for money.
10-15 minutes walk to Old Town Tacoma. Pleasant surroundings, quiet area. Period house with original fixtures and fittings. Our bathroom/en suite was original but bought up to date with some modern accessories. Accommodation was great, room was clean. Breakfast especially the fruit platter was good. Hosts were very attentive. Definately go back.

An Italian villa paradise

Posted 24-Jun-2017 on Hotels
The Villa is only out done by its hosts Toni and Martin. Our room was spectacular. The four poster bed gorgeous, comfortable, and romantic. We enjoyed wine and the sunset from the beautiful balcony. Our gourmet, vegetarian, three course breakfast was delightfully served in the lovely sunroom. Needless to say, we were highly impressed and enjoyed our stay immensely. Great location too!

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast

Posted 22-May-2017
Pros: Quite in a lovely historic home.
Cons: Nothing except the owners could use help with all that needs to be done running a bed & breakfast.
Location: Beach, historic sites and good restaurants.
Had a beautiful, quite and comfortable bedroom overlooking a garden. Breakfast was delicious and the owner very helpful with suggestions for what to do at the close by beach and restaurants. I would recommend it.
