Arrived about an hour and half before checkin. I let the hotel know I needed an earlier checkin, which they said shouldn't be a problem. Asked the lady at the front desk, got a scoff, and about 15 minutes of silence she handed me a room key. Some more soft skills could have been utilized here, it was pretty awkward.
Got into the room; it was fairly clean which is nice. Things to note; the TV is an old black box..we brought a firestick to plug in, but yeah, the TV doesn't have anything remotely close to an HDMI or USB plugin. So, that was a no. We were left with just BBC america and some animal show for the time being.
Toilet was very rocky, didn't seem to want to stay stable..not a good sign. Missing covers in the bathroom.
NOISE...oh the noise...from about 10pm to 4am, it sounded like a heard of elephants above our room. Seriously, it sounded like a mix of construction, circus, elephants on parade and someone rolling a 3 ton rock up and down their room. Slider door constantly opening and slamming shut from 1am to 4am. It boggles my mind what these people could be doing, and the fact that they care little for the peace and quiet of other guests.
POOL - Fat overweight kids eating dorritos in the pool; that sums it up. Sauna was broken, the hot tub was pretty nice though.
Overall I probably wouldn't stay here again. Nothing stood out as a 'That was really nice, next time I'm in the area I'll stay'. I'd check out some other places before I'd book this one again.
