An awful experience.

The hotel rooms were crowded and not sound proff in any way. The pool is not explained to you they give you a key and they charge you each time you go. To get breakfast you had to wait in line 20mins . Our room smelled of mold and the hot water didn't work. We changed room our 2nd day and the smell was kinda better but our kids and us we all had coughs and sneezing from the mold in the hotel.

Room was too small.

It would be nice if they actually had suites. Separate bedroom from living room area. There were so many kids in the pool the day we got there that my grandkids were not able to have a good time. We booked through Expedia and was not aware that we had to pay additional $25.00 to use the pool. At the end of our stay the gal at front desk waived the fee due to misunderstand. Second day pool was practically empty and that's when it was fun for the boys.

It sucks that they charge 25.00 to use the swimming pool. They dont tell (us) anything until we went in. try to go into the swimming area. 25.00 is not alot, but I have never seen this before.separate charge for pool.LAME

Stay at a Holiday Inn Expres

Posted 10-Apr-2016
The hotel was very loud as it was close to a main thoroughfare. My stay was for 7 nights, 2 of which they failed to service our room. When they did, the service was poorly done. The surcharge of $25 (per night) for use of the pool is ridiculous. The pool was tiny and in no way could it be called a water park as the hotel likes to call it. The staff was nice. Free wifi was good. Breakfast was the standard that other chains have. I give this hotel 2 stars based on the water park surcharge, quality of service and failure to service our room and the noise.

Nice hotel, close to Interstate 5

Posted 07-Apr-2016
Pros: Easy to find, clean.
Location: Malls and restaurants nearby.
Reasonably priced hotel in the Seattle Tacoma area. Easy access to Interstate 5 to drive into Seattle and the SeaTac. Good recommendations from staff on restaurants nearby. Breakfast provided was basic. Rooms were clean. Rooms with two queen beds a bit tight at end of beds. Our room faced the highway behind the hotel and traffic noise was loud in the mornings.

Wasn't horrible

Rooms were clean and updated. Staff was less then helpful and when I booked it didn't say anything about a fee to use the pool...I have never heard of such a thing!! Ghetto people hanging around the outside of the hotel most hours

Red Lion on I 5

Posted 26-Mar-2016
Pros: The pool
Cons: noise proofing the walls and windows and an elevator??
We were happy to get a room close to our grandsons home in federal way Wa. The dissapointments started at check in .The desk clerk told me the only rooms available were on third floor or basement level me and my wife both have bad knees and they have no elevator !! So I try and deal with that we get our bags to the third floor and settle in .But this room is right on the highway and it is noisy till at least 4am then my wife wakes me and tells me there is mold on the bathroom ceiling but I don't want to move all of our gear to another room my knees hurt so we try and deal with it and get our grandson to go swim they have a great pool with two slides ..Next thing I get a mad call from my wife about having to pay extra $ for the pool key !! The room was already high $. plus tax per night we did not see this on Expedia or at check in !! So recap Mold/Stairs/ Money /NOISE Forget about this RIPOFF .
