great hotel, will be back

Location: lots of restaurants and store adjacent to hotel
was very clean and the room were just redone. The staff was helpful and housekeeping was great.

Pros: It was very clean, rate was set at a very good price.
Cons: Nothing that I can say
Location: Right next to highway there was endless possibilities on restaurants and malls.
I took my nieces and nephews down to the Red Lion since there parents are on a cruise and I am now going to book there every time we come up this way. I really enjoyed how nice and remodeled the whole hotel is. Breakfast was spectacular and such a good deal since it is included in the rate, I couldn't believe how nice and quiet the hotel is as well. My nieces and nephews ended up using the slides since it was open until close, It makes me feel good knowing you guys have a lifeguard as well. By far Red Lion is now my favorite chain of hotel that I will be staying in. Thank You and have a good day.

Never again!

Pros: Nothing
Cons: See experience above
The bathroom ceilings had mold on them. The shower took forever to drain. The window had only a shear curtain so the parking lot lights shined into the room the entire night.

Last minute stay.

Nice to have the water slides, it would have been nicer to know when booking that there was the fee for the water park. Who does that? Breakfast was good. Nice location.

Just let kids run wild and slam doors!!!!

i prepaid so I could not be refunded after the girl at the desk offered my room for free after moving me because of a door slamming feast and pot smoke. I had two nights of kids literally slamming the door as hard as they could. Horrid stay and what appeared to be a reasonable place

Stay in federal way

I have stayed at the federal way red lion several times and have always had a great stay. The hotel is comfortable close to everything and the staff is great.

An awful experience.

The hotel rooms were crowded and not sound proff in any way. The pool is not explained to you they give you a key and they charge you each time you go. To get breakfast you had to wait in line 20mins . Our room smelled of mold and the hot water didn't work. We changed room our 2nd day and the smell was kinda better but our kids and us we all had coughs and sneezing from the mold in the hotel.

Room was too small.

It would be nice if they actually had suites. Separate bedroom from living room area. There were so many kids in the pool the day we got there that my grandkids were not able to have a good time. We booked through Expedia and was not aware that we had to pay additional $25.00 to use the pool. At the end of our stay the gal at front desk waived the fee due to misunderstand. Second day pool was practically empty and that's when it was fun for the boys.
