Under renovation

Posted 15-Dec-2017
Pros: Friendly staff and better quality towels.
Cons: See above
Location: I was there for a funeral so not really a pleasure trip. There was an interesting Chinese restaurant nearby.
I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The building is under renovation and perhaps once the renovation is over things may be better. The construction thus far appears subpar. I don't know if the room we were given was renovated or partially renovated but it was in bad shape. The bathroom was missing tiles. There was paint splattered all over the place. Door frames were crooked. The continental breakfast was mostly instant oatmeal, cold cereal, bananas, oranges, coffee, cheap bagels, chip beef and biscuits. While it wasn't the greatest food the worst part was that the construction workers helped themselves at the same time guests were there. It was very uncomfortable. The desk staff were very friendly and the towels were of better quality. I would not consider another stay at this hotel even when the renovations are completed.

Extremely disappointed. Not up to par with any Red Lion I have ever stayed in. The property is currently under renovation, which it desperately needs. Carpet and furniture where old. At least the bed was comfortable enough. The towels were the quality you get at the local gym. Only a dozen cars in the parking lot so walking down the hallways of a seemingly empty hotel felt a little eery with rooms open and being torn up for remodel. I tried to sleep in the first day but that wasn't going to happen with the power drill serenade just after 8am. I tried to print my boarding pass at the 'business center', aka computer in the entryway. Wouldn't print. There were 20 prints in the queue dating back a month because the printer was offline. Is it hard to turn a printer on? It's like they are not even trying. At least Shayna at the front desk was nice and had me email it to her and she printed it for me. That was about the only positive experience there. Needless to say I did not enjoy my stay.

Old outdated under construction

I did not know the whole hotel was under construction. Rooms were outdated & the work being done was poor workmanship. Would not stay here even after the remodel.

Nice affordable hotel

Posted 10-Dec-2017
half the hotel was under construction, luckily we weren’t woken up by any going on. We needed an extra cot but they didn’t have any available so they gave us extra blankets and pillows, which was fine but a bit inconvenient for one of the people in our group. The staff was very friendly. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the bathroom which was alright but I could have used one in the morning. Overall an alright hotel, I think when construction is done it’ll be a great place to stay. It was clean in our room and nothing out of place.

Under Construction

Posted 07-Dec-2017
Pros: Not much
Cons: Just about everything
Location: DO NOT leave anything in your car. Our car was broken into and they stole our luggage when we went to a Denny's across the street the next morning.
The hotel is currently under construction (Dec 2017) and I can understand that. What I don't get is they gave us a room that was clearly not ready to have guests. Debris on the floors, mold in the showers, paint on the bathroom countertop. Really disappointed. Talked to the front desk and told them about it and they said they couldn't do anything about a refund or reduction because I booked through expedia.

Under construction!!!!

The price was cheap so usually I would leave it at that but I was under the impression that it was clean and nice due to the star rating on the website. The staff was fantastic but the rooms were little to be desired.
