Red lion/holiday inn was under construction. You received complaints since at least 7May, but failed to contact us in time to switch. Wires hanging out from ceiling. Restaurant unfinished, moves to other rooms due to construction, , in room services poir,dust, plastic and a sign on the emergency doors that said use elevator. A total exercise in greed with no consideration for the cystomers. I Have photos.

This is the first time I've written any comment for any experience related to my relationship with Expedia. As you can verify, I have often booked with Expedia and have always been very satisfied with your professionalism and attention to detail. On this occasion, however, I have one recommendation that I believe to be important. The Red Lion hotel, which I booked for geographical reasons and for its proximity to the location of my conference attendance, was highly unsatisfactory. The hotel was in full construction mode. The lobby, halls, doors, and elevators were a complete mess. There was considerable noise, on one evening until past 9pm. Expedia should be able to post whether any hotel is undergoing renovations. (No small print please). I know this is an additional responsibility for Expedia, but I can assure you that customers will appreciate it. Unfortunately I will now book from other travel sites in 2018. A gesture of goodwill on your behalf will allow me to reconsider. Thank you.

The hotel staff was all friendly, although when we arrived to our hotel we found out that the entire building was under construction. I was not aware of this at the time of my booking nor did I ever receive a notice that the building would be under construction at the time of our stay. There was only one working elevator, our room was half way done with the construction, and was the room on the floor that seem to be put together. Disappointed in the hotels lack of communication and how unorganized it all seemed. Will be staying somewhere else next time.

when the room was booked, I was not informed that the hotel would be under construction. There was not vending machines, ice machines, no breakfast, and no access to the pool. the bathroom mirror in out room was not cleaned. There were nails sticking out of the baseboards. it smelled like nothing but paint. The stairs were blocked off. we could not lock our bathroom door or we would get stuck in there. There was also no calking around the tub.

The hotel was under construction so there was no pool to swim in and that was one reason we picked the place. There wasn’t any coffee in the room and I thought there was supposed to be a breakfast served. The rooms were very nice and the staff was great, I just wished it would have said that the hotel was under construction when I booked it online.

The hotel is under major construction. Pool and breakfast bar are not open. The pictures on expedias site are of a renovated hotel. We checked in and checked out 15 minutes later. The hotel staff was very friendly and understanding.

Stay after Remodeling is done!

The Management needs to be better organized on the remodeling project so that the guest are not interrupted with noise and complete workmanship on the rooms that are intended for use. For example missing door moldings, old doors etc! New pretty stuff should never be mixed with old or missing materials! I could go on and on with this as I am a project management specialist. I hope the hotel management sees this as it’s a wake up call for better service and improved business practices.

Hotel under construction renovation the stench of dust wet carpet everywhere. Loud bagging noises during the day. The water was turned off. No not notified b4 hand. Etc.
