Not like other Red Lion Hotels

Posted 26-Nov-2016
The room location was very noisy by a laundry area and elevator and stairs. The old windows let all the sound in and heat out. The room was clean and livable. The staff was very friendly!

Nice staff, Gross rooms.

Posted 21-Nov-2016
The staff was nice and the lobby was clean but as soon as we walked up to our floor it smelled of cigarettes and weed really bad. Our room was "clean" but stains on everything made me very hesitant to put my bag down anywhere. Other than that, nice amenities.

Nice hotel with a wonderful staff!

Posted 14-Nov-2016
Location: There are many restaurants within walking distance. The Tacoma Mall is very close too!
It is an older building but they have done a fine job of restoring it! It is very comfortable with nice amenities! The morning breakfast is good with lots of options!

The staff way great and the room was nice, but i ended up with bed bug bites all over my arms and legs. I will definitely not be returning to the red lion.

Fair

Bed is over used. I got back pain from it. Curtain in room 315 needs to chage and fix. The zink has black mold/dirt on the upper sides not thoroughly clean. Staff are great! Very polite helpful and friendly.. complementary breakfast are good just add more bacon :-)

The first room was awfull. Dirty, smelled of mold,

Posted 24-Oct-2016
Pros: The staff was great. They did everything they could to address our concerns
Cons: The first room was awful and dirty. The second room was better but not by much. There were two ladies pandering outside of the entry and a person inside helping himself to coffee that was not a guest. The lady at the front desk was really trying hard to get him to leave.
Location: Didn't do anything outside of the hotel. Neighborhood was not comfortable.

Yuck

Posted 23-Oct-2016
I cannot believe Red Lions owns this dump. The building is in bad condition and dated, part of the hallway smells like mold. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Sell this right away this cannot be a money maker. I've have stayed at Red Lions all over and was shocked. Yuck

Staff was really nice but...

Posted 15-Oct-2016
The staff was extremely courteous and our room was really clean but its location was horrible (room 202). We were between the elevator and stair well and below the laundry room so our room was very noisy and we had flies. But because my visit was so short I decided not to complain. I like the hotel: breakfast, jacuzzi, swimming pool, friendly staff etc.. and will probably go back but I will definitely have to have a different room.
