This is the first time I've written any comment for any experience related to my relationship with Expedia. As you can verify, I have often booked with Expedia and have always been very satisfied with your professionalism and attention to detail. On this occasion, however, I have one recommendation that I believe to be important. The Red Lion hotel, which I booked for geographical reasons and for its proximity to the location of my conference attendance, was highly unsatisfactory. The hotel was in full construction mode. The lobby, halls, doors, and elevators were a complete mess. There was considerable noise, on one evening until past 9pm. Expedia should be able to post whether any hotel is undergoing renovations. (No small print please). I know this is an additional responsibility for Expedia, but I can assure you that customers will appreciate it. Unfortunately I will now book from other travel sites in 2018. A gesture of goodwill on your behalf will allow me to reconsider. Thank you.
