Smelly, dirty, and scary hotel with lazy staff.

Posted 10-Aug-2016
Pros: Absolutely nothing!
Cons: Management.
Location: Wild Waves was amazing and the whole family had a blast.
Upon arrival we were told that there was a booking error and that they didn't have any nonsmoking rooms available for us so we were forced to sleep in a very smelly room that literally made my daughter cry and gave me a migraine. Not only was the fan broken in our windowless room, but half of our lights wouldn't turn on either. During our stay I found a dead bug rolled up into one of our 'clean' towels, a dead spider dangling above our bed, and a pubic hair on the toilet, one on the shower wall and another one on the door. My last concern is the tenants they have living at the hotel, they were loud, violent, shady characters that were wandering around the whole night. I'm not sure what kind of show they are running there but the experience was horrid enough that I am done traveling for the summer and will think twice before my next stay anywhere.

Horrible customer service.

Posted 09-Aug-2016
I called to ask if we left something behind and I was hung up on repeatedly and so I asked for a manager and I was told that there was no managers on duty. I know they could be upset with my room as I cleaned as much as I could before we left for room service.

Do not stay here

Posted 16-Jul-2016
Checked in drug activity everywhere was threatened went and asked for money back they wouldn't give it but said the police show up every night at 10 and stay the whole night so I would be safe at 10,, still didn't feel safe left and got another hotel across the street. The hotel has a contract with Tacoma police to come every night and stay the night that isn't a good thing,,, trust me don't stay here

Clean, the remodled and good location

Posted 14-Jul-2016
The location is great. For $70 I wasn't dissappointed good location to food and shopping. Te remodel was a nice surprise. Clean could have used a couple extra pillows. No extras like shampoo, coffee maker that would have made it really a good value. But for the price not bad.

Drug activity, cigarette burns & hair everywhere.

Posted 27-May-2016
Couldn't walk out the door without someone trying to bum a cigarette, offering drugs to buy, or offers for prostitutes. The room itself was clean, until you start noticing hair of all kinds, types & lengths all over the place (including Imbedded in the towels.). I don't recommend this place unless you really need to save money or want to stay somewhere where your own illicit activities will be overlooked due to the rampant criminal element. Even so, there was a police presence there as well, not that it helped. The Howard Johnson down the road is much nicer & only a bit more dough. Stay there instead, I wish I had.

A place to sleep

Posted 11-Mar-2016
Pros: Close to shopping and places to eat.
Cons: Better linens, maid service and maintenance. One washcloth and 4 cups supplied for a stay of 6 nights and 2 adults. No working refrig for 3 days.
I expected a quiet room, but due to unruly children upstairs, found sleep hard to come by. The beds were uncomfortable with springs easily felt, the linens were rough and worn, and bedding had cigarette burns even though motel has been non-smoking for several years. After three days the refrigerator quit working and we had to throw out food we planned on using for lunch.
