No fridge or microwave. Shower was dirty and damaged. One bed was caved in. Free breakfast was extremely limited. No hot food (no scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage or biscuits found at typical continental breakfasts). Next to the Tacoma Dome and convenient access to I-5

Nice for our purposes. Close to our destination.

Pros: The price was right, I booked through Expedia. Overall, it was a nice place.
Cons: Nothing hotel could do about freeway mess. Parking was adequate. Surrounding businesses were a "little run-down".
Location: We were there for a specific purpose, moving student into University of Puget Sound. No sight-seeing this trip.
The highway construction was a real problem. Signage could be better, I understand hotel has no control over that, I think if printed maps of the affected area could have been available it would have been a near "really great" experience. Staff was patient and helpful "when I got lost" as well as at check-in and check-out. Breakfast area and staff were very helpful, smiling and courteous.

Decent hotel about a mile and a half from Downtown Tacoma. Surrounding area is pretty industrial.

Nice hotel, good price.

We decided to stay at this hotel, because the hotel prices in Seattle were crazy at this time of the year (August). We had stayed at La Quinta in other cities, so figured it would be safe. The hotel was very nice, all new and renovated. Hotel stay was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint (and it's only a small one) is that we were right next to a 24hr tech manufacturing company. Also neighbourhood wasn't great, but that didn't affect our stay.

It was a short stop over but comfortable and it was a little noisy ( traffic & guests) but no major complaints.

Older hotel in very industrial area along highway

Posted 10-Aug-2016
Hotel needs updating, we stayed here literally for sleeping and breaksfast as we drove from Seattle to portland. Floors were updated to pergo type flooring, and rounded shower curtains added to old bathroom, but that's about it. Everything else is 1970s hotel/motel. Parking was tight and hotel is next to Highway, but two stories below highway level, so you can here passing traffic all night. Breakfast was continental with only 1 juice, bad bagels and frozen waffles the day we stayed. Good news is that it's within attached restaurant so you can pay for an ok hot breakfast. I would recommend finding a hotel is a more scenic part of Washington that's close to Seattle. We found a fast food place within 5 miles, but it's very hard driving around the multiple service roads and industrial complexes around this place.

Very Scary

Posted 08-Aug-2016
Pros: We did look at the room and the accomodations were nice and clean.
Cons: I don't know if you could improve the area where this hotel is located.
Location: We were told by several people that this area was the highest crime rate area in Tacoma. very scary area
We didn't end up spending the night. We stoped here for the night on our way north. We were towing a boat loaded with gear and coolers, generator and other items. There was no parking for us to stay at except behind the building. There was warning when you arrived, when you checked in and from strangers that we would wake up to having everything stolen. Because of the people walking the streets scanning our vehicle we did not feel safe or comfortable.

Pros: location was perfect.
Cons: was just fine.
Location: Easy access, casino, restaurants and traffic was ok.
close to restaurants, casino and our children. Just had a very good time, and got a free breakfast too. I would stay again if we need to have a place. Anyone would enjoy it.
