Gave us a room & there were people sleeping in it!

Posted 16-Aug-2015
We got our room key. Nice night lady on desk, but assigned us a room that was already taken. We walked into the room with kids and lugage to find people sleeping in the bed. Not cool. When we went back to the front desk, she mentioned it had happened before!!??! I guess they are not very organised. Not super clean . Breakfast was sub-par almost in edible. I highly do not recommend this place. Breakfast was even cleaner up before the specified time of 9 am.

Horrible hotel experience

Posted 10-Aug-2015
Pros: Building itself was fine and close to the highway
Cons: Fix things when people report them and behave as if the customer actually matters
Staff was unpleasant, many guests at checkout complained of broken and unrepaired facilities - shower, A/C, etc. "Breakfast" choices were really not choices at all - poor quality and processed.

Unrealized Potential

Posted 29-Jul-2015
Pros: Easy on and off the freeway. Bed and pillows and A/C were great.
Cons: Management attitude and maintenance.
Location: Not too far to Tacoma, Seattle or Olympia.
The bed and pillows were comfy and the A/C worked great. However the bathroom was scary with peeling caulking over mold. The carpets were stained and the curtains were barely hanging. The exterior needs work with torn screens and dead flower pots. Signage everywhere like Pool Closed, taking food to your room would result in trespass charges, no refunds after check-in, etc really made you feel unwelcome. Not a good first impression. The area of town looks a little sketchy, but it was not really bad. They did have amenities like a mini fridge, MW, iron and board, toiletries, etc not usually found in this price range. The breakfast was a disaster. All carbs with waffles and toast the only hot options. It was all squeezed into a space the size of an RV kitchenette.

Don't stay here

Posted 25-Jul-2015
Incompetent hotel staff.... Service was bad... And room was dirty. Sheets were not clean, bathroom was not clean and hallways were nasty. Our room never got serviced and you have to fight to get clean anything.

Rude and Unhelpful Staff

Posted 24-Jun-2015
Pros: Close access to I-5.
Cons: The only thing that cannot be improved is the access to I-5.
Location: The hotel is right next to the Port of Tacoma. Semi-trucks were everywhere. Fast food is close by, but no nicer restaurants.
Not impressed with this place. I had a room booked since last August. When I arrived, they told me they did not have a room and if I wanted a room the nightly rate would increase by $25 per night. I had confirmed the reservation and the rate by telephone earlier in the week. The staff was very rude and told me they would not honor the rate I had reserved and confirmed with their employee by phone. I finally was able to negotiate a reduced rate, but still more than the reservation. I needed the room for 5 nights to attend the U.S. Open golf tournament. The second night, our room was not serviced. I went to the cleaning staff area and was able to get more bath towels. The third night our keycards quit working. The fourth night we woke up to a fire alarm. We looked over the breakfast, but chose not to eat there. The hotel is in serious need of new carpets and updated furnishings. I will not return to this hotel.

In need of repairs

Posted 24-Jun-2015
Pros: Close to our event
Cons: See above - just needs upgraded and TLC
The price was right, but cooling unit filter was filthy, replacing carpet in hallways, room was generally clean, just needs upgrades and it appears they are starting on that so in the future this might be a recommend. It was close to where we needed to go so it was convenient.
