The D. Canoe behind the counter, not only blew off the fact that there is a new debit card policy that isn’t listed ANYWHERE from what I can find, then continued to ignore Expedia when they called because I couldn’t check in (using the same debit card I’ve always used here) and I lost that $100. My husband and I are homeless and have to work every day to have money THAT night for a room anywhere. So we had to sleep in the car overnight.

This should be an embarrassment to the Extended Stay hotel company. They had no hair dryer in the room but would rent me one! They had a kitchen but absolutely nothing in it, I’m sure they would have ‘rented’ me a fork if I asked. The room looked old with worn carpet. And the free breakfast was dry oatmeal packages and stale muffins. Unbelievable

Arrived at midnight, staff said I couldn’t check in until 2 due to the “night audit.” Had to sleep in my truck for 2 hours. Once I did check in, I saw bags of trash lining the hallways where guests had stuck them outside their door and were never picked up. The whole place obviously stunk because of this. The inside of the room smelled the same, the floor was covered in a sticky film that my shoes stuck to. The neighboring room had a yappy dog that constantly barked and screeching from what sounded like a parrot. I made it until 3am and then decided it was best to just go back out to my truck to sleep

Currently homeless and door dashing just to have a room each night. No matter where my day ends, I look at this location first purely because of how amazing the gal behind the counter is. She’s made coming here so welcoming and friendly and you just don’t get that at every hotel, let alone every location of extended stay. No matter how upset I’ve seen guests about details she couldn’t control, she has remained calm and professional each time. The energy in the room just goes flat whenever it’s someone else behind that counter. Please keep her.

Our room was non smoking but smelled liek smoke. The floors were dusty. Location wise its a sketchy part of town. Actual workers were very nice tho like checkin staff and cleaners.

Bad example of hospitality
Not the best experience here. No heating/cooling in our room, the fan on the unit was also not functional. The windows only opened 2" (Im sure due to security concerns) but it meant no airflow in the room. We were not offered any other room options, and a person could not come to fix the unit "until the morning" but that did not occur before we checked out. Provided 3 pillows for a queen size bed- they were out of pillows, none available. Provided breakfast was coffee and oatmeal packets- hot water not provided. At 8 am they did have some mini-muffins put out. Rooms did not contain coffee maker, bowls or silverware despite being an extended stay hotel- you have to ask for those items. I appreciated the fully fenced parking lot. In general the hotel appeared clean.

There were holes in the curtain in the rooms. Black mold in the ceiling right outside our room. We were very concerned not only for ourselves but the housekeepers that need to work in the mold daily. The hallway also had a foul odor I’m guessing from the mold.

I was put in a room with a broken air conditioner. When I called the front desk, I was told "Yea our maintenance man hasn't gotten around to fixing that yet." I said "You put me in a room, and you knew the air conditioner was broken in 95 degree weather?" I asked for another room and was told they were full. This was after 9 at night. Then I looked around the room and bedside lamp covered in dust and soda rings on the counter. With no where else to go, I tried to open the window, they only open an inch and there was a woman smoking right under my window. The best part was when the fire alarm went off at 2AM. Everyone exited the hotel and going down the hallway is a man covered in blood. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Stay away!

Location doesn’t have a lot by it if you don’t have a vehicle. Lobby has no seating area or bathrooms for guests waiting to check in or for delays on room. Crystal was super helpful, super friendly and Just on top of things.

We were attending a 2 day festival a few miles away that got over close to the end of the checkin window. I called the day before and was told we could checkin early since the festival started before the checkin time did and to come in before (she even wrote a note for the next shift which they never received), when we arrived was told that was not possible & they had no idea what I was talking about but they will have a room for us ready when we return tonight. The lady at the desk took my ID and did all paperwork required to check us in and wrote a note for the night shift that we would be checking in late, she guaranteed we would have a room and to not worry about it. We arrived at 11:30pm and were told they are over booked and they don’t have a room for us. I made every effort to ensure a room would be available and even pre-paid through Expedia 4 months in advance, which did not matter to this hotel. They overbooked on purpose knowing they were already fully booked. There were literally NO hotels with rooms available within a 25 mile area so we ended up driving the 2 hour drive home and will have to do the same tonight for the 2nd day of the festival. I can not recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff don’t communicate with each other and they lie to your face.

This hotel was not clean. The lobby and elevator had not been swept or mopped in a while. There was grime and loose dirt and dust. The room was cleaner, but it smelled horrible. It had an overly perfumed smell that was trying to cover other odors. The kitchen was very dated. We won’t be staying here again.
