Nice location

Stayed a few times now, the hotel could use some upgrades. Staff is always friendly and the location is great. It's a decent place if you just want the basic suite.

Basic accommodations in convenient spot

Easy to get to from the interstate--about 40 minutes from downtown Seattle and 15 from Tacoma. Room was basic but functional. Front desk staff was very helpful. Refrigerator worked, had to ask for multiple hairdryers as the first one didn't work.

Not clean - strange smells

Front desk staff was nice but ditzy. First room they gave me was not clean yet. So they got me a different room. This second room smelled like jalepenos and burnt salsa. The door handles and carpet were filthy. Oh, at first the key card to this room did not work. So I had to go back, again, to the front desk for them to get me new cards.

the hotel is in an industrial type area. Lots of truck traffic, and the type that comes with it. not bad if you are working nearby. I would not recommend for a family stay.

Would not honor reservation

Arrived at night, hotel staff was rude and had no clean rooms, I was told. Blonde woman who was at the frontdesk, should be fired and should not have a job dealing with the public. I even had my 10 yo child with me. Bad experience.

It was very nice comfortable the room was very nice i especially liked the fact that if i wanted to cook the was set up for me to do so

Dirty Room!

When checking in the staff was very pleasant. When we got to your room it was very dirty. It looked like it hadn't been dusted in ages. The blanket on the one bed had stains on it and didn't appear to be clean. We had a blanket in the car so I pulled the blanket off and used mine. We didn't have an iron or a coffee pot (in the description these are noted as in-room amenities) . When we checked out I told the Front Desk Associate that our room was very dirty and that I had a picture to show her. I noticed that the description said the rooms had been renovated in 2012, but I don't think that routine maintenance is high on their list of priorities. When we ere checking out the one rep said that they would work on getting me a voucher for one nights stay at any extended stay and that they would need to speak with their manager. It's now 4 days later and I haven't heard anything. The one night voucher wasn't expended but it was a kind gesture. You should follow-through with the customer on what the outcome is.

Booking Extended Stay America - A Nightmare

Pros: Nothing. Even the free breakfast is just coffee or chocolate, sort of mini muffins and nutri bars. They also have only 1 bath towel in our room.
Cons: Everything. Don't make you're customer feel that it was their fault when you gave away his room and they can 'take it or leave it' the alternative you
I arrived at the hotel at around 8:00 pm using UBER from Tacoma Convention Center which is around 2.8 miles. When I approached the front desk to check in, they said that I don't have any reservation. Luckily I printed a hard-copy of my confirmation from Expedia and gave this to the lady. Then later she said that there's no more room available since I was 'late'. I told her what do you mean late. It's only 8:00 pm and according to the confirmation from Expedia that my room is reserved until 12:00 am and can be extended if I call if ever I'm arriving later than 12:00 am. Then she gave me an alibi that the reason that there was no more room available is because 1 of the rooms has a plumbing problem and therefore cannot be rented out. After more than an hour she finally was able to find me another Extended Stay hotel where they still have a room. This is located in Kent, WA which is around 20 miles away from the Robotics competition at the Tacoma Convention that I will be attending that starts at 7:00 am. I then asked the receptionist if they will cover my transportation (UBER) going to the place. She said she can't do that. I asked her to ask her manager, which she did but still she that they can't do that. To cut the story short, I called UBER and paid for it. When I reached the Kent location, I learned that I was only getting a single queen bed for me and my son. I told them that maybe they can give me a King bed or the one that I reserved w/c is 2 queen but they said no. Then

Below Average / Average Hotel

Pros: Large fridge, room relatively clean
Cons: Put some cups / utensils in the room. Pillows were pretty small / uncomfortable. Extended breakfast to 10 or 10:30
Location: Tacoma, Washington
This hotel was good enough for a one night stay. Breakfast ended at 9:30, which seemed pretty early. Rooms come with bare essentials. Staff was not very friendly. Would stay here again if it was the only option, but would otherwise stay elsewhere.

We want to ensure that the dishes are fresh and clean when you arrive, therefore, rather than risk dust accumulation or stocking the rooms with items that won't be used. We supply these items upon request. We also want to make sure that the dishes have been sanitized versus washed by hand to guarantee that we are up to health code. I hope this information helps.
