Dingy, outdated, noisy, unsafe location

Pros: Staff seemed nice and breakfast wasn't terrible
Location: Restaurants nearby are sorely lacking
Rooms smell like ashtrays Road noise Abandoned furniture in parking lot Cars in parking lot broken into overnight Terribly uncomfortable beds

Decent hotel for the price

This hotel was very comfortable considering its overall rating. My family stayed for two nights while visiting other family. The room was clean and the beds were great. The swimming pool was average but my daughter loved it. They even serve complimentary hot breakfast in the morning....No complaints

Nice hotel

I have never stayed at a comfort inns before so for this being my first experience it was good, the only I will say is that I was a little disappointed about the pool being cold. I took my 1 1/2 year old swimming and it was a little to cold for him.

Totally adequate

I stayed in a standard king room. Included a fridge and microwave. Bed was pretty comfortable. It was definitely loud there, being right off the freeway, but once I turned on the AC/fan I couldn't hear it. Front desk staff were great. Practically no water pressure, that's my only real complaint. I would stay there again.

BEST PLACE IN TACOMA ....

Cons: HOLDING MONEY ON CREDIT CARDS FOR MORE THAN 24 HRS AFTER CK OUT!!! bad policy - hurt my weekend.
I loved everything and was impressed with Best Western's economy accommodations. Economy because I used Expedia! Great rate introduced me to fine room and excellent breakfast. Tip: They will dock your credit card for an extra $200 USD when you check in to ensure they can charge you if you are delinquent with their hotel. Good idea BUT ... it does not get removed for about 5 days which can , and did, cause me to fall short on the fun I had planned. For those who are not floating in liquid cash or credit ... this can be a very unhappy ending to a perfect weekend.!!! I hope they change that policy fast. It dropped my rating from an Excellent to Confussed and Sad (3). hmmmm

We do get an additional authorization at check-in (or a cash deposit) to ensure that our newly renovated rooms stay in great shape. Unfortunately how that authorization in processed depends on your bank. I hope that you will consider returning in the future.

Staff was excellent. Room was spacious and clean. Quick and easy checkin and checkout process and the free breakfast wasn't bad either!
