Gnome Hill Cottage - A Rustic Pet-Friendly Cottage In The Woods

"We had such a nice stay at Gnome Hill Cottage. The cabin is a converted shed tucked away in the woods, and it has a really cozy, peaceful feel to it. I especially loved the wood interior—it gave the whole place a warm, welcoming atmosphere.Everything was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt private without feeling too isolated, which made it easy to relax and just enjoy the quiet.The location was great too. It's only a short drive from Table Rock, Ceasars Head, and Dupont, so there are plenty of beautiful places to hike and explore. We also appreciated that there were things to do right at the property if we didn't feel like going anywhere. There's a Dollar Store a couple of miles away if you need and supplies.You can tell the owners put a lot of care into creating this little getaway. We'd definitely stay here again, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy place to unwind and enjoy nature."

"Loved staying right next to Table Rock State Park. We were able to use to pack pass two days in a row. Went hiking one day and swimming in the lake the next. The private trail was also a nice adventure to the lake. The hot tub was certainly a nice way to end each day. We also saw fireflies when we made s'mores at the fire pit. It was a very quiet place to stay in the woods and look up at the mountains. Also, had dinner at a Mexican restaurant the first night that BT recommended. The food was fantastic. Thanks again BT!"

"We absolutely loved the peace and quiet of the canine and beautiful scenery. The neighbors dog was a sweet heart as well came to say hey every morning. The host provided some snacks as well and was a true blessing. We are planning to stay again."

"Highly recommend this property. The home is older but impeccably clean and well stocked with everything you will need. There are plenty of towels (not always the case with rental homes), hand soap, dish soap, tissues, and toiletries. Somebody clearly went out of their way to consider the little details, like the adorable decor, to make the home very cozy and inviting. Great location for Table Rock, Caesars Head, Keowee-Toxaway state parks and Lake Keowee. The Pumpkintown General Store is great for breakfast and Pickens (Main street) is about 15 minutes away for lunch or dinner."

"So, this is truly the best house rental I’ve ever had. The owner stocks the house with everything you don’t even expect you may need. You can tell she’s very thoughtful and intentional in the manner she manages the property. Probably one of the vacations we’ve had in a while. Oh, and she responds immediately to every inquiry. My family loved it. We especially loved the fire pit and smores at night. Entry was so simple. The house is stocked. Board games, ping pong and Amazon prime, WiFi etc. There is a menu of activities in the area, all just minutes away. There are fairy lights outside, chickens next door, deer. The people are wonderful and the parks are amazing. Thank you!"

"Nice clean house with adequate room for the 8 of us traveling for our daughter’s wedding at nearby Gaines Lodge. Kitchen was enough to allow us to prepare food for the wedding as well. The fridge was big enough to hold all that food. The kids used the game room while the grandparents used the back deck to enjoy the sunshine. Loved that it was so close to Table Rock State Park."
