Does not deserve brand name !

Posted 28-Jul-2017
One lamp was missing a bulb , clock radio was not plugged in , and the distance from elevator was a too long for this gimpy military veteran who requested a short walk from elevator or lobby. The hall way noise was notable as well. The ownership of this hotel that is so close to Providence (RI) T.F. Green Airport that they should pay more attention to basic details. Otherwise, the brand name should be removed by the licensor.

Extremely Bad Hotel

Posted 28-Jul-2017
Pros: the bar was ok
Cons: your entire service experience
Location: location was ok
This hotel has gone downhill over the last three years and I would never stay there again. The door lock didn't work well, the toilet didn't flush correctly, we got a full bed and not queen, the machine in workout area I wanted to use was broken, the rugs in the halls were stained, you could smell the pool chemicals on the third floor, you don't have free breakfast with the room, elevator was very slow, coffee was not available after 10am. This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in years.

It's too expensive and the server is not good.

The Hotel is nice if the price is $50 USD per night . The rooms looks like a motel room . I think La quinta is better and cheaper . The hotel is ok , but for the money is not good.

Not up to the Sheraton Brand

Posted 04-Jul-2017
The only part of the hotel that lives up to the Sheraton brand was the lobby which was nice. Even though the hotel is near the airport, it is NOT up to standard that Sheraton is known for. It was more like a motel to be honest. The hallway leading to our room was dirty with bits of paper- I figured housekeeping hadn't been there yet but it stayed that way overnight. I noticed the room was dirty right off; I understand the carpet would be stained here and there due to use but it needed to be replaced. My 7mo old was finding bits of things (paper, seeds) in the middle of the room. The walls seemed to have water damage - even halfway up the wall. The lockbox was ripped completely out of the wall in the closet. I found small ants near the walls & AC unit. There was dirt and whatever else on the wall on both sides of the AC unit. When I went to the front desk with concerns, they moved us immediately (one room over). The new room's closet was missing a door and the track was rusted. It didn't have a fridge but when I asked, they brought one down within minutes. However, it was NOT cleaned out (had an apple in it) and come to find out the next morning, it didn't work (at all which was unfortunate for the milk I had with us for my daughter). The new rooms curtains had small holes in it. After traveling over 5 hours and it being late, we stayed overnight. I filed a complaint the next am, s/w the manager and left for another hotel. The staff was helpful but the hotel was unacceptable

Stuck in the Middle!

Posted 25-May-2017
We chose this hotel based on it's proximity to the Providence Airport and, frankly, because we assumed a Sheraton would be a nice accommodation. Boy, we're we WRONG! Yes, it was close to the airport, but the place was in TERRIBLE condition. The hallways were filthy, plates and silverware were left out by rooms and never picked up by housekeeping, the smell/stench of paint was everywhere, and our room (while clean), was obviously unfinished. There were spots in the bathroom that needed to be caulked, we had four lamps in our room--three of which did NOT work--and painters' tape was still noticable in the doorways. We were told by another patron that part of this was due to a merger or buyout of the Sheraton chain by Marriott. Whatever. IMO: WHOEVER owns that particular Sheraton should learn how to vacuum and how to pickup dirt plates in the hallway. It's not difficult.

The Satisfied Customer

Posted 18-May-2017 on Hotels
I had a great stay. The staff was super awesome they were always right on it when I would see something untidy. They were very helpful. The location was nice as well because there were a couple of restaurants that were a short walking distance from the hotel. I wish we could have enjoyed the pool but they were servicing the pool when we got there. Last but not lease the shuttle bus driver Edison was really nice as well.
