Nestled in one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Hungary, it has above all one thing: peace and relaxation. The 800-soul village is crowned by a medieval castle ruins and is considered one of urspünglichsten am See - also because of its old, upper part of the village, also in the house is embedded. We stayed at the "Csend" cottage in August. Csend means quiet and the place is really peaceful. The house is equipped with everything you need. It is not only well equipped with but also beautifully and rusticly decorated. You can feel the atmosphere of an old cottage The view is also nice. You can relax drinking the morning coffee and admiring the local landscape with the Balaton coast which is about half an hour walking and a few minutes by car. So if you want to run away from the busy, urban life and slow down, this is an ideal place. Adrian and his parents are absolutely nice and always helpful. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Von der Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick über den Balaton und der komplett eingezäunte Garten war für unseren Hund super. In der direkten Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken: z.B. die Burg in Szigliget, Radtouren und Wanderungen durch die Weinberge oder die Höhle in Tapolca. Wir hatten Fahrräder dabei, am Ort kann man aber auch welche mieten (auch E-Bikes). Der Kontakt und die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern ist erstklassig. Wir haben ein langes Pfingstwochenende in Szigliget verbracht und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Der Ort ist nicht überlaufen, sauber, gepflegt und idyllisch gelegen. Wer also den Massentrubel sucht ist hier falsch! Es gibt viele Wandermöglichkeiten und auch Radtouren sind gut machbar. Allerdings war es während unseres Aufenthaltes für Beides zu heiß. Das Häuschen ist wirklich alt ( hat gefühlt schon irgendwie ein richtiges "Leben" auf dem Buckel ) und wird so nach und nach saniert. Wer etwas unsicher auf den Beinen ist sollte im Erdgeschoß schlafen da es zum Schlafzimmer im ersten Obergeschoß eine wirklich enge und steile Treppe hochgeht.Trotz des Alters ist das Häuschen aber absolut sauber!... und hat aus dem Garten einen wunderbaren Balatonblick! Abends draußen sitzen, den Grillen zuhören, ein Glas Wein und einen Palinka dabei.....Entspannung pur! Die Herrin des Hauses immer nett und freundlich und immer gern mit einem Tipp. Dabei aber nie aufdringlich, einfach sehr harmonisch! Uns hat es super toll gefallen und wir wünschen den Gastgebern ganz viele nette Gäste! ##### Uwe W. Schönes Haus mit Reetdach und umzäunten Garten. Die Vermieter sind sehr angenehm und hilfsbereit und die Umgeben wirklich schön - auch für Aktivitäten mit Kinder. Alles in allem war es ein toller Urlaub am Balaton - gewiss nicht unser letzter! ##### Thomas M. We stayed at the "Csend" cottage in August. Csend means quiet and the place is really peaceful. The house is equipped with everything you need. It is not only well equipped with but also beautifully and rusticly decorated. You can feel the atmosphere of an old cottage The view is also nice. You can relax drinking the morning coffee and admiring the local landscape with the Balaton coast which is about half an hour walking and a few minutes by car. So if you want to run away from the busy, urban life and slow down, this is an ideal place. Adrian and his parents are absolutely nice and always helpful. Wir waren für einen zweiwöchigen Familienurlaub dort. Sowohl das schöne, rustikal gehaltene und saubere Haus als auch der Garten mit Seeblick laden zum Entspannen ein - ein absoluter Geheimtipp für diejenigen, die Ferienhausurlaube abseits vom Trubel des Alltags mögen. Im Haus ist alles wichtige vorhanden, was gebraucht wird. Im Ort selbst gibt es trotz seiner beschaulichen Größe eine Menge zu entdecken.
